中文摘要：	信息技术的发展和互联网应用的普及以及媒体格局和传播方式的改变，给当前的社会舆论环境尤其是涉警舆论环境带来了前所未有的变化。互联网的低门槛性和便捷性、现代媒体高效率的传播模式，使人们更加方便的将自己的意愿表达出来，更加积极的将自己对事件的看法公开发表，使人们对于涉警事件的言论能够迅速发酵。公安机关地位、性质以及公安工作的特殊性，负面涉警事件舆情与生俱来的显性特质，使得涉警事件舆情极易成为大众关注的热点和媒体炒作的焦点，使得关于涉警事件的舆论能够迅速的发酵，失之毫厘就会成为舆论攻击的对象。回顾近年来的涉警事件舆情的内容及性质，不难发现在数量上负面性质的涉警事件舆情占有较大比例。负面涉警事件舆情固有的高影响力、高传播速度、高关注度、长持续性的特征给公安机关舆情应对带来了重重困难。在我从业的过程中就亲眼目睹了应对舆情时公安机关的束手无策，故本文站在公安机关的视角下进行相关研究并提出相应对策。本文采取文本分析法，同时结合案例研究、比较分析和数据挖掘等研究方法，通过选取雷洋事件为负面涉警事件舆情研究案例，选取云南缉毒警察李敬忠牺牲事件为正面涉警事件舆情研究案例，对舆情信息量、传播趋势以及文本内容进行数据统计和情感分析，分别得出正负面涉警事件舆情的传播特点并从涉警事件舆情传播特点的角度对正负面涉警事件的舆情进行比较分析，进一步提出了公安机关在应对负面涉警事件的舆情时该如何采取更加科学的方法把握舆情引导的主动权？在面对正面涉警事件的舆情时该如何进行更加广泛的传播及更加科学的引导？
