| 中文摘要: | 企业间的竞争经历了由做产品(包括价格、质量和服务)到做品牌,后来到做专利,再到目前的做标准的一系列过程。标准被喻为“游戏规则”,谁掌握了规则,谁就赢得了这场战争。把标准竞争作为企业的竞争战略在中国方兴未艾,而且中国企业在国际贸易上面临着的种种壁垒大多以“标准”自居,这些由外国企业掌控的并成为它们核心竞争能力的标准大大增加了中国企业的生产成本。 大到一个国家,小到一个企业,如何通过标准竞争保护自己的竞争优势并从中获取利润是一个值得挖掘的问题。标准按照其形成方式可以分为官方标准和事实标准。官方标准的竞争一直是企业间竞争的焦点,而事实标准的竞争却往往被忽略,然而事实标准竞争战略有其特殊的优势,本研究就从“事实标准”给出一个适合特定条件下企业应用的企业竞争战略模式。 本研究总结和发展了前人的研究成果,给出了建立事实标准的战略模式。研究主要运用了产品进入市场战略、营销战略和竞争优势等理论工具,分析了事实标准的特点和标准竞争的作用机制,给出建立事实标准的竞争战略模式,为企业的竞争战略提出了一个全新的视角和思路。最后,本研究结合微软操作系统软件建立事实标准历程的案例加以充分说明。 | |
| 英文摘要: | The competitions between firms have changed from enhancing production qualities, making remarkable brands and resorting to patents in former days to setting standards nowadays. That the standards enjoy the high reputation – the game rules means that the one who can control the standards will win the business battles. It is still in the early stage for China to realize the importance of standards battle while alien companies have already been utilizing the standards to gain their core competence. Chinese companies are facing many obstacles in the international market, which are set by different international technical standards. The standards, whether open or not, have make Chinese products fall into the hazards of high production cost. For a nation or a firm, it is worth considering how to make its own technology become a standard and then generate the competence with regard to competitive advantage and reaping profit. Standards can be divided into two types – De facto standards and De iure standards. The battles on De iure standards have been focused on for a long time, but the De facto standards are always neglected. Since De facto standards enjoy a lot of benefits, this paper tried to explore a competitive strategy mode that is based on how to establish a De facto standard for a company. This paper summarized the procedure how the De facto standards developed, and then tried to explore a mode about how to build a De facto standard actively. By referring to other literature and theoretical tools like entry strategy, marketing strategy and competitive advantage theory, this paper analyzed the virtues of De facto standards and explained the mechanism of standards competition and how the mechanism works. Finally, a corporate competitive strategy based on De facto standards mode was built, aiming at giving an outlook of the competitive strategy based on standards competition. To explain the mode in detail, this paper reviewed the cases of Microsoft’s operating system. | |
