中文摘要:网络教育即现代远程教育是以现代的通信技术、网络技术、计算机技术、多媒体技术为依托实现教育者和被教育者在不同的空间或时间完成教学过程的一种教育方式。中国网络教育的发展是一种转型性的进展从函授到广播电视再到以数字化、网络为特征的多种媒体的应用。这种教育形式的转型扩展了教育参与的群体,延伸了教育覆盖的区域,丰富着教育组织体系,改变着教育教学模式,正在跨入全面、协调、持续发展的新阶段。 本文运用战略管理、竞争力分析模型、竞争优势分析、价值链分析模型的相关理论工具并通过与国内外远程教育的对比分析了南开大学网络教育学院的价值创造模式、对通过调整价值链的各环节分配获得更大的竞争优势及学院未来的发展战略给出了指导性的建议。 全文分为五章。第一章是导论介绍了论文的选题背景、意义以及论文的内容和结构。第二章是相关概念和理论基础。第三章是高校网络教育价值链分析。第四章是南开大学开展网络教育的环境分析。第五章是南开大学网络教育学院的竞争优势生成模式。 本文的结论是发展我国的高校网络教育既离不开国家、学校的相关政策支持同时也离不开网络学院自身的努力。网络学院需找准定位,从价值创造活动的各个环节入手,通过对各环节的优化来提高教学质量和自身的服务价值才能获得持久的竞争优势。 
英文摘要:Network education in other words is modern long-distance education based on modern communication technology, network technology, computer technology, multimedia technology. The education support educators in a different space or time completing the process of teaching. The development of Chinese modern long-distance education is a transformation of the progress. It’s from the correspondence to the radio and television and then to digital and network featuring which is a variety of media applications. The thesis makes use of the idea of corporation strategy management, five-force model, theory of Comparative Advantage and the theory of Value Chain through the comparative of domestic and international network education analysis the Nankai University Network Education Institute’s value creation model, and through the adjustment the links of the value chain to gain the greater competitive advantage and gives some guidance recommendations of the institute’s development strategy in the future. The thesis is divided into 5 parts. The first part introduces the paper's content structure and background. The second part is the related concepts and theoretical foundations. The third part is analysis of the higher school network education’s value chain.. The forth part is the environmental analysis about developing of Nankai University Network Education Institute. The fifth chapter analyses the competitive advantage creation model of Nankai University Network Education Institute. The sixth part is conclusions and policy recommendations. The development of Chinese higher network education must support by countries and school's policy at the same time the network academy must do their own efforts. The network institute must accurate the position and increase the teaching quality and the value of the services that can gets the lasting competitive advantage.
