中文摘要：	随着社会环境的不断变化以及信息技术、网络技术的飞速发展，公共图书馆单纯传统的以提供文献信息资源为主的服务已无法满足用户的新需求，公共图书馆开始在空间布局和服务类型上寻求新的突破和发展。作为一种新的服务方式，公共图书馆创客空间为创客们提供场地和工具，营造一个交流、协作、创新的氛围，让他们将各种创意转变为现实。公共图书馆开展创客空间服务，既满足了人们的实践需求，又有效利用了图书馆空间，成为新的图书馆服务生长点。 本文首先介绍了公共图书馆作为“第三空间”的研究背景，分析了公共图书馆创客空间服务带来的转型契机，然后阐述了创客空间的内涵和兴起，对国内外关于图书馆创客空间的研究进行了分析总结。其次回顾了图书馆创客空间的发展历程以及图书馆界专业协会对创客空间的广泛关注，再采用文献调研法、图书馆网站调查和实地调查的方法，对国内外公共图书馆创客空间建设情况进行调查，选取了三家国外公共图书馆创客空间和我国上海图书馆“创?新空间”进行详细的案例分析。最后，根据国内外公共图书馆创客空间的实践经验，分别从实体空间设计、虚拟空间设计、运行机制三个方面，总结出公共图书馆构建创客空间的模式，提出该模式应建立的人员保障、制度保障、资金保障以及宣传保障，为我国公共图书馆构建创客空间提供一定的指导意见。
英文摘要：	With the changing social environment and the rapid development of information technology, network technology，the traditional literature and information service of public libraries can’t meet the diverse needs of library patrons. Public libraries have sought out new opportunities for development in the space layout and types of service. As a new service mode, the public library makerspace provides place and tools for makers and create a communicational, cooperative and innovative atmosphere, which turns makers’ ideas into reality. The public library makerspace meets people’s practical needs and uses the library space effectively, which develops into the new service of public libraries. This dissertation firstly introduces that public libraries are considered to be “the third space”, deeply analyzes the transformation opportunity of public libraries brought by makerspaces, and then describes the connotation of makerspace, summarizes the focus on the research of library makerspaces. Secondly, this dissertation reviews the development process of makerspaces and the professional associations’ attention to makerspaces, makes an investigation on the practice situation and research status of public library makerspaces both in China and abroad with literature research method, library network survey and field method, chooses three public libraries abroad and Shanghai Library “Creation?New Space” as cases. At last, based on the successful experience of public library makerspaces, this dissertation summarizes the construction mode of public library makerspaces from such three aspects: physical space design, virtual space design, operating mechanism, and raises that the staff support, institutional support, financial support and publicity support should be established, which could provide guidance for the construction of makerspaces in Chinese public libraries.
