中文摘要:全球价值链在世界经济中的主导地位日益明显。越来越多的国家由于全球价值链活动的参与促进了国家经济技术的飞速发展,因此价值链理论受到学者的广泛关注。特别是发展中国家,在参与全球价值链活动的过程中,通过不断的改进工艺技术,提供多元化、多层次的服务,完成了向价值链两端环节的渗透,并获取了更大的利润空间。 改革开放30多年来,通过价值链活动的参与,在一定程度上优化了我国的产业结构,推动了经济的发展。但在全球经济增长放缓,国内劳动力成本增加,人民币升值等多重压力下,传统外贸行业仍面临着十分严峻的挑战。特别是以劳动力密集型产品为主的外贸出口企业,从价值链分工角度来看,我国的外贸出口企业总体上仍处于价值链上附加值低的生产加工环节。随着国内资源要素成本的上升,一部分外贸订单已正向越南、柬埔寨等东南亚国家转移,转型升级已成为外贸行业面临的重大议题。我们需在保持现有优势的基础上,重塑企业的核心竞争力,通过广泛参与价值链活动,逐渐渗透到附加值高的设计和营销环节。 本文以SY外贸公司为例,对当前外贸公司所处的内外部环境,外贸公司自身的优势、劣势、机会与威胁以及存在的问题进行了分析。结合国内外贸公司的实际境况,探讨了外贸公司如何在全球价值链背景下,通过走实体化转型道路,构建以自己为中心的价值网络,以提高自身的竞争力,实现价值链上的升级。  
英文摘要:Global value chains (GVCs) play an important role in the international trading system. At present, GVCs has attracted extensive attention from the international community, because of his great contribution towards economic development. As it turned out, some developing countries were making every effort to achieve their global of upgrading in GVCs. In fact, they had obtained the greater profit share by exporting the high-value added products and service. For the past 30 years, China has played a constructive role in participating the GVCs. We have become the world second’s biggest economy and the powerful country in export trade. We have to admit, embedded the activities of GVCs is an important power to promote our economic growth, create more employment opportunities and generate more taxes to benefit local governments. Also it is the most intrinsic motivation to accelerate Independent Innovation and Science and Technology Advancement, so as to complete the processing of Economic Structure Upgrade. But our traditional Foreign Trade is still confronted with a severe challenge on the pressure of the global economy slowdown, domestic labor cost increased and the Renminbi revaluation. Especially for the exporting enterprise, which mainly export the labor-intensive products, they can not obtain the high profit, because they are in the bottom of “Smiling Curve” based on the Division of Value-Chain, the most advantage we rely on is the Cheaper labor supply. The high - speed development of Chinese economy can not get away from the contribution of population dividend. But with the Vanishing of Demographic Dividend and rising of the labor force cost, some Multinational Corporations have already transferred the orders to Southeast Asian, such like the Kampuchea, the Vietnam, so in such a competitive environment, we have to face with the challenge and choice of transformation and upgrading of the foreign industry. We must reckon with how to improve the competitive in the GVCs and how to reach the upgrading in the GVCs. This article takes SY trading company for example to illustrate the realistic status of trading company in China. We analyses the internal and external environments to the SY trading company; second, we carry on the SWOT analysis from the microeconomics standpoints. According to the theory of GVCs and related enterprise upgrade and the realities of small and medium – sized company in China, we explored that the foreign trade company should upgrade the value chain from low added valued in the transition to high value added chain, we discuss the common path of transformation and upgrading for the foreign trade enterprises.
