| 中文摘要: | 改革开放30余年间,我国图书馆职业、图书馆教育领域均发生了若干变化。本研究意图借助对改革开放后至今历史上的社会公众图书馆员刻板印象研究,了解改革开放后图书馆职业在社会公众眼中的形象变化,并探寻社会公众视角下的图书馆事业发展与时代的变迁对图书馆员刻板印象的作用。 研究以图书馆学专业就读者高考填报志愿的经历作为切入点,通过访谈方法收集其高考填报志愿时对于图书馆职业的看法,并借助其所在班级的志愿填报情况将图书馆学专业就读者划分为若干代,挖掘当时社会公众的图书馆员刻板印象,最终结合时代与图书馆事业的变迁分析产生该图书馆员刻板印象的原因。 通过图书馆学专业就读者所在班级的志愿填报情况,可以将图书馆学就读者划分为2代。第一代图书馆学专业就读者入学年份为1978-1989年,反映的社会公众对图书馆员刻板印象包括:图书馆工作环境好、在图书馆可读书、在大城市工作、图书馆员少与人打交道;第二代图书馆学专业就读者入学年份为1987-2011年,所反映的社会公众对图书馆员刻板印象包括:图书馆职业适合女性、稳定、清闲、专业性不强。 图书馆员刻板印象与图书馆事业发展是共生关系,即一代社会公众的图书馆员刻板印象的形成受之前图书馆事业发展情况或时代背景的塑造,同时,它又会影响到这一代社会公众对待图书馆事业的态度与行为,从而作用于当代图书馆事业发展,塑造下一代社会公众的图书馆员刻板印象,如此循环往复。 结合社会流动理论,本研究发现,时代背景参与塑造了图书馆员刻板印象,具体表现在入学与择业方式的变化、社会的变迁、经济体制的变革3方面的共同作用。 通过图书馆员刻板印象的代际差异分析,本研究认为,当前图书馆事业发展面临的若干问题源于此前图书馆事业发展中没有得到妥善解决的问题的累积,因而需要警惕图书馆事业陷入恶性循环。当前的一种解决之道在于,对图书馆员形象进行设计与展示,使社会公众充分了解图书馆作为一个机构的运行机制,逐步在社会公众心中树立图书馆员专业化的形象。图1幅,表24个,参考文献58篇。 | |
| 英文摘要: | There’re significant changes in librarianship since reform and opening up.With this retrospective research on Chinese librarians’ stereotype , the author recoveried the evolution of the librarians’ image science the reform and opening up,traced the development of librarianship,then combined with the changes of the times to find out the historical reasons for the Chinese librarians’ stereotype nowadays. This research based on the voluntary choice of LIS student in college entrance examination.The author reviewed LIS student to collect the data of their view of librarians,then divided all the LIS students into several generations by the ratio of LIS as the first choice in each LIS student’s graduating class science the reform and opening up.Based on all of these ,the author found the librarians’ stereotype of each generation,then analyzed the reason. The LIS students could be divided into two generations. The intended time of the 1st generation of LIS students is between 1978-1989,they hold the stereotype of librarians like the library could offer them good working environment, librarians can study on the job, librarians worked in big cities, disconnected from society.The intended time of the 2nd generation of LIS students is between 1987-2011,they hold the stereotype of librarians like librarian is a vocation for women,stable vocation, leisure work, absence of speciality. It is symbiotic relationship between Chinese librarians’ stereotype and librarianship,which means the age or the librarianship at a period of time shaped a generation of LIS students’( the public) stereotype of librarians,at the same time ,this stereotype of librarians influence the attitude and practice when toward librarians, consequently acting on the librarianship,shaping the next generation of LIS students’ stereotype, and that cycle repeats. The author found the age shaped the stereotype of librarians with the theory of social mobility. Specific performance in the entrance and the way of choosing a career change, social change, the transformation of the economic system. Through this research, the author found that, at present, there are lots of problems in the development of librarianship in China, these problems have their historical causes, so it should alert to a vicious cycle.One solution for the crisis is librarian image design and display,it would made the pulic more eunderstand the operating mechanism of library as an organization, gradually establish the professional image of Chinese librarians. | |
