| 英文摘要: | Further development of information technology has been changing the reading environment, in which readers have been rather inclined to electronic reading than paper book reading which has declined continuously. Some universities have applied the concept of Web2.0 and Mashup technology to optimize the OPAC in libraries by building the reading sharing platform. Some foreign and domestic book-reading and book-review websites --- like Librarything, Goodreads, Books we like, and Douban.com, on-line book stores, on-line database --- show many advantages in design, which are worth learning and reference. The application of Mashup technology in improving the library OPAC indicates its feasibility in realizing some of the functions in the reading sharing platform. The analysis of questionnaires on readers demand in some university libraries shows: 93.3% readers read less than 3 books per week, which indicates a low reading rate; readers obtain more reading materials through Internet rather than libraries; 98% readers have shared what they have read to others after reading; 88% respondents make it clear that they will share with others, however, the sharing has been limited in the shallow recommendation of bibliography. Readers need such a reading sharing platform. 82.82% readers have made use of the inquiry function of the OPAC in libraries, while 51.20% users think it’s hard to indentify the needed proper book because of the lack of the book-reviews. Book-reviews and added comments appear to be very important. The new reading sharing platform needs some new functions. Based on the analysis of the characteristics of foreign and domestic reading sharing platforms, the readers’ sharing needs, and the feasibility of Mashup technology in improving OPAC, this paper proposes new design concepts of LRSP (Library Reading & Sharing Platform) , including six functions: personal library, one-off searches, resource integration and presentation, online interaction, offline interaction, and user contribution incentive. It also puts forward six foundations for functional module design and details for database design. There are also some deficiencies in the design and realization of the LRSP platform: 1. the reader needs samples on the questionnaire are relatively simple, and the information acquisition and sharing habits of readers are homogenized; 2. there is a lack of on-the-spot investigation of the application cases, and the research is limited to the study and analysis of the present existing research fruits, the practicability of the technology and the users’ potential demand programs; 3. owing to the certain needed technical supports and development cycle from the design to the fulfillment, the function of the this system depends on the library management software manufacturers. | |
