| 中文摘要: | 创业网络是新企业初始资源的重要来源,而创业战略是初始资源与新企业成长之间重要的传导机制,所以创业战略成为联系创业网络与新企业成长的重要媒介。为避免有限资源的无序耗费,创业网络资源将对新企业战略选择产生重要影响,那么,创业网络是如何影响创业战略生成呢?本文即尝试对该问题做出回答。 在社会网络理论和资源基础理论的指导下,本文采用案例研究方法着重分析以新企业创建为起点,以新创企业明晰提出创业战略为终点这一区间段内创业网络对创业战略生成的影响机制。 通过比对分析四家高科技行业新创企业,研究发现,新企业生存与发展是以找寻根业务作为主线,创业网络—资源—战略的分析模式较好地体现在创业情境下,创业网络经营—利用—开发的逻辑链条嵌套在新企业发展过程之中。创业战略并不是随新企业创建而随即产生,在其产生之前,创业者的非正式网络的经营与利用影响了新企业根业务的探寻和确立,文中将新企业模糊的战略雏形命名为“新企业战略原型”。 在新企业战略原型影响下,新创企业进行快速学习与试错调整,不断在改革中探路和在探索中发展。新企业战略原型是企业阶段性发展的产物,其价值随企业发展阶段的更替而消失。通过寻求市场的反馈,新企业战略原型平衡了创业想法与网络利害相关者诉求的关系,并最大化脆弱的资源基础的功效于新企业生存和发展的根业务的探索中。当创业网络产出无法实现企业根业务发展的需要时,建立以盈利均沾的契约为基础的正式网络关系的诉求便呼之欲出;新企业战略原型经正式网络关系的开发和引入促进了创业战略的生成。总之,不同类型的创业网络在创业战略生成过程的不同阶段发挥了不同作用和扮演了不同角色,新企业战略原型成为创业网络与创业战略生成之间的重要传导媒介。基于以上发现,本研究构建了创业网络与创业战略生成的概念模型。 本文的理论贡献主要表现在:一是探索性地讨论了创业网络对创业战略生成的影响机制,发现了新企业战略原型的角色扮演,深化了对中国情境下创业网络独特作用的认识;二是以往研究重点分析了网络关系对于企业绩效和创新的影响,而对于网络关系和企业层面创业行为两者关系的探讨还较为有限,实证研究更是匮乏。本文运用网络视角分析创业战略生成并展开案例研究,因而拓展了社会网络理论的运用范围;三是展示和印证了创业网络—资源—战略分析模式,并呈现了创业网络经营—利用—开发的逻辑链条,延展了社会网络理论在创业情境下的应用,尝试性分析了资源机制在网络—行为范式中的作用。 本文按以下的框架进行:第一章为绪论,主要介绍研究背景、研究意义及研究的技术路线和相关章节安排;第二章为理论回顾与文献综述,重点梳理社会网络理论、资源基础理论及相关领域的研究成果;第三章为案例研究设计,着重描述案例研究的设计和实施过程;第四章为案例分析,主要包含多案例比对分析,自然涌现相关理论发现;第五章为研究讨论,主要是将本研究的理论发现与相关研究领域展开对话;第六章为研究结论与未来展望,讨论了本文的主要结论、实践启示、不足及进一步研究的方向。 | |
| 英文摘要: | Entrepreneurial network is an important source of initial resource of new venture, and entrepreneurial strategy is a vital transmission mechanism between initial resource and new venture growth, so entrepreneurial strategy could be an important medium linking entrepreneurial network with new venture growth. In order not to cause a disorderly cost of limited resource, entrepreneurial network will have significant effects on entrepreneurial strategic choice. Then how entrepreneurial network influences the gestation of entrepreneurial strategy? This paper is designed to explore this question. Under the guidance of Social network theory, Resource-based theory, this paper employs case study research method to probe into the influencing mechanism between entrepreneurial network and entrepreneurial strategy. In order to better focus and analyze this mechanism, this paper focuses on the interval between new venture gestation and clear new venture strategy proposed. By comparative analysis of four different new ventures, this paper finds that, resource-strategy-growth paradigm is clearly shown in entrepreneurship context and the logic link of entrepreneurial network operation-exploitation-exploration is embedded in the process of new venture development. Entrepreneurial strategy is not provided accompanying the establishment of new venture and before it proposed, the operation and exploitation of entrepreneur’s informal network affects the development planning and competition mode of new venture. In this paper, the fuzzy strategy is named as prototype of new venture strategy. Under the influence of prototype of new venture strategy, new venture starts quick learning and trial-and-error adjustment and scouts in the reform. The prototype of new venture strategy is a product of stage development of venture and its value will be expired with the development of new venture. Facing the condition that it is difficult to meet the transformation appeal just by informal network, the formal network which is based on contract would motivates the transformation; by exploring and introducing formal network, the prototype of new venture strategy is translated into entrepreneurial strategy. Different types of entrepreneurial network plays different roles in different stages of new venture. The prototype of new venture strategy is the mechanism between entrepreneurial network and entrepreneurial strategy. This paper has three important theoretical contributions. First, this paper discusses the influencing mechanism between entrepreneurial network and new venture strategy gestation, and finds the role of the prototype of new venture strategy plays, deepening the acknowledge of unique role of entrepreneurial network in Chinese context. Second, past research pays much attention on the effect of social network on venture performance, but pays little attention on the relationship between social network and behavior of new venture. Based on social network view and using case study, this paper focuses on entrepreneurial strategy gestation which provides some insights for social network theory. Third, this paper shows and verifies the entrepreneurial network (resource)-strategy-growth paradigm and shows the logic link of entrepreneurial network operation-exploitation-exploration, enlarging the application of social network theory in entrepreneurship context. The framework of this paper is shown below. The first chapter is Introduction, introducing research background, research meaning and research technical courses; the second chapter is Theory Development and Literature Review, and this analyses extant research and lays groundwork for this paper; the third chapter is Case Study Design, and this describes the overall design and implement process of case study; the fourth chapter is Cases Analyze, and this introduces research insights; the fifth chapter is Research Discussion, mainly linking research insights with extant research findings; the sixth chapter is Conclusion and Outlook, mainly showing research conclusions, practice implications, limitations and future research directions. | |
