中文摘要:西方发达国家拥有成熟的第三方物流(3rd Party Logistics,以下简称3PL)产业,有一整套全国统一的管理政策法规,发展出了众多庞大的跨国3PL企业。随着中国加入WTO,中国物流市场逐步对外开放,这些跨国第三位物流企业纷纷进入中国市场。他们不仅实行科学的管理制度,还通过先进的信息管理系统实现内部管理系统化,外部客户服务可视化,充分发挥了其遍布全球分支机构的规模效应,牢牢占据着中国进出口市场的主导地位。然而,外资3PL企业在拓展中国本土业务时却遇到了麻烦。尽管他们企图复制其在全球发展的模式,同样在中国主要港口和内陆城市布置了几十家站点,信息系统和管理方法也是全球统一,但是十几年过去了,收效甚微。本文针对全球营业额第一大3PL公司DHL Global Forwarding (以下简称DGF)(中国)在经营战略中遇到的问题,选取了全球最盈利的3PL公司Expeditors (以下简称EI)(中国),比较了两家企业在华机构的内部管理(组织架构,激励机制和信息系统),和与外部环境调整(市场细分,外部成本控制和未来经营战略改善预想),分析了DGF(中国)的竞争优势和竞争劣势,从而找到其经营战略的改善方案。本文从外资3PL企业DGF(中国)的角度,分析了中国物流市场竞争状况,希望对DGF(中国)有所借鉴和帮助,同时,也希望通过对DGF(中国)的多方面比较分析,可以对中资3PL企业有些启发。本文并不试图对外资企业提供一种统一的3PL管理模式,而是从“因地制宜”这样简单的道理上来唤醒大家重新审视“现代企业管理”,并且以中国市场为基础与前提,在这个特定竞争环境下,提出适合中国市场的外资3PL企业管理建议。 
英文摘要:The developed countries have the mature 3rd party logistics (3PL) industry, with series of policies and rules covering the whole country, and produce several multinational enterprises in the 3PL area. With joined the WTO, China opens the logistics market to the world step by step. And the foreign 3PL companies enter the Chinese market in succession. Having well management system and the advanced IT system to achieve the internal control and external service visibility, the foreign 3PL enterprises bring the scale effects of their hundreds of locations globally in the Chinese foreign trading market, and already are the leader of the logistics market in export and import part. However, the foreign 3PL enterprises face to big challenge on the Chinese local business development. It is frustrating because so much efforts is being expended with so little apparent result in the past ten years, although they try to copy their success of other countries, by building tens of stations in Chinese main ports and inland cities, and implementing uniform worldwide management system and IT system. In this thesis, the writer focuses on the operation strategy problems of DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) ----the largest 3PL company on annual revenue .The writer also selects Expeditors (EI) ----the most profitable 3PL company, to compare on the internal management including the organization structure, motivation system and information system, and the adjustment on external environment including market segmentation, external cost control and foresee on the future operation strategy. Analyzing the strength and weakness of DGF (China), the writer find the solution. From DGF (China)’s view, the paper investigates the competition situation of the Chinese logistics market, which will be useful and helpful for DGF (China). Meanwhile, the local enterprises also could learn something from the dissection of DGF (China). The writer is not trying to find one and only management mode for the foreign 3PL enterprises, but takes a new look at “Modern Enterprise Administration” by using the common sense “act according to the circumstances” . And then the writer advises the suitable solution, based on the specific competitive context in the Chinese market.
