| 中文摘要: | 通过质量管理体系的构建来提高芯片设计公司的设计质量、保证产品质量是本文研究的主题。在芯片设计与研发的过程中,由于芯片投入市场的时效性与芯片性能的竞争性,使得芯片设计项目的质量管理尤为重要。芯片设计项目涉及较多环节,一般包括项目启动、前端设计、后端设计、试制、项目收尾等过程,其中设计过程涉及了大量的设计仿真或测试验证工作,如系统行为级验证、电路逻辑级验证、软硬件协同设计与验证、芯片后端设计与验证、芯片测试及芯片样片封装后的功能和性能适用性测试验证等许多具体工作环节,试制还涉及到芯片的流片生产环节。管理芯片设计项目的质量,不只是对芯片设计环节本身,而是贯穿于芯片整个设计开发全过程的质量规划、质量保证和质量控制的管理,是芯片设计企业的生命线和企业竞争力的保证。 本文研究了芯片设计项目全过程的芯片设计质量管理问题,并结合H公司数字电视国标芯片产品设计开发的实际,对影响芯片设计质量的诸多因素进行了分析,研究了适合公司特点的芯片设计项目质量管理体系的设计或构建问题,除包括芯片前端设计、后端设计和试制等主要质量管理工作外,还包括服务外包的质量管理工作。通过本项目质量管理体系的设计和研究,建立了一套适合于该公司的芯片设计项目质量管理体系,该体系经过几年的有效运行及多次成功流片和生产的证明,验证了本文提出的体系设计方法的有效性,具有一定的推广应用价值。本文在论述结构上首先针对芯片设计中面对的质量问题提出了研究内容,回顾了有关理论,然后通过分析质量管理体系和构建中各个环节的质量影响因素,着重进行了芯片设计项目质量管理体系的总体设计和分阶段设计,最后,结合H公司数字电视芯片项目质量管理体系构建和运行的实例,表明本文提出的芯片项目质量管理体系的有效性。 本文的贡献主要体现在对芯片设计独特性的分析、芯片设计项目质量管理体系的研究和芯片设计项目质量管理体系的模型三个方面。首先本文通过分析和研究,找出芯片设计具有较多依赖计算机设计与验证、高密度集成的芯片、多层次的设计团队、对设计师资质有较高要求、芯片设计中验证的重要作用及芯片设计专业分工形成的服务外包管理等独特性,对芯片设计独特性分析为本文后续的展开研究打下了基础。然后本文在研究PMBOK项目管理知识体系指南的理论的基础上,结合芯片设计独特性及质量规划、质量保证和质量控制的管理方法,研究提出了适合芯片设计项目质量管理体系的设计方法,为继续研究并得到体系模型起到重要作用。最后本文通过运用芯片设计项目质量管理体系的研究成果,结合作者在H公司芯片设计项目质量管理体系的设计经历,研究得到了芯片设计项目的质量管理体系模型,本模型可为芯片设计公司提供借鉴和应用示范。 由于本文作者的经历及知识所限及芯片设计本身专业性很强,从芯片产品的全过程流程及其质量管理看,涉及较多的专业技术,本文难免有很多不专业或瑕疵的地方。另外就质量管理本身,由于芯片设计的零差错质量目标要求,质量管理必须深入细节。因此本文作者尽管亲身参与和经历,但还存在许多不足和盲点和有些研究不全面且深入不够的问题。 目前,在电子信息产业或芯片设计和制造产业,今天和今后仍然是一个高速发展的产业。未来几年世界电子信息产品市场规模将稳中有升,世界电子信息产业格局也将基本保持稳定,中国在世界电子产品市场中所占的份额将继续提高,中国等新兴经济体国家将继续不断扩大电子信息产业规模,成为世界电子信息产业中的亮点,也为国内芯片设计公司带来无限生机。正是如此,芯片设计项目的质量管理非常重要,关系到能否在市场面前把握机会,推出设计质量好、产品质量高的芯片产品和芯片应用参考设计,使芯片设计公司在其未来的发展道路上抓住关键。 | |
| 英文摘要: | The subject of this thesis is to research on quality management system building to improve the quality of the design and ensure product quality of the chip design company. Due to competition on time-to-market and chip performance, project quality management is significantly important in chip design and development procedure. Chip design project involves many phases in general, including the project startup, chip front-end design and back-end design, prototyping and project closing process. It contains quite a lot of design simulation or test validation in chip design process, such as the level of system behavior verification, circuit logic level verification, hardware and software co-design and verification, chip back-end design and verification, chip testing and chip samples packaged functionality and performance suitability tests. The trail chip also involves the tape-out and production processes. Management of chip design quality is not just in design phase but throughout the whole procedure of quality planning of the entire chip design, quality assurance and quality control management, which is the lifeblood and competitiveness of enterprises. This thesis studies quality management issues existing in the whole process of chip design of the chip design project. Based on implementation of digital TV national standard chip of company H, we analyze many factors affecting the chip design quality and study quality management system design or construction problems which include front-end design, back-end design, tape-out of sample and outsourcing management. With design and research of the project quality management system in the thesis, we build a proper chip design project quality management system for this company. After several years of the effective operation and numbers of successful tape-out and production, it demonstrates that the proposed the project quality management system of chip designs is effective and certain application value. In this thesis, we propose the research of quality management in chip design and development firstly, and then give brief introduction of relevant theories, analyze various aspects of the quality management influencing factors on the overall chip design and development, describe the architecture and details on chip project management system building, finally provide a reference example based on digital TV chip project quality management system. It shows that the proposed chip project management system is effective. The main contribution of this article is reflected in the following three aspects: the analysis of the uniqueness of chip design, the research of system of the chip design project quality management and chip design project quality management system model. Firstly, this article find out that the uniqueness of chip design contains dependence on the computer design and verification, high-density integrated chip, multi-level design team, high requirements of designer qualification, the importance of verification through chip designing and outsourcing management formed by chip design specialization of work. The research of the uniqueness of chip design lay foundation of subsequent research in this article. Then this article proposes for the method that fits the chip design project quality management system design and plays an important role in continuing to study and get system model. Finally, combined with author’s design experience in project chip design quality management system in Company H, this article researches and gets the quality management system model of chip design through the research of chip design project quality management system. This model can provide a reference for the chip design companies and application demonstration. Since the author’s experience and knowledge is limited and the chip design is high professional, from the perspective of the whole process of chip producing and its quality management that involves many professional techniques, there inevitably exits a lot of unprofessional or defective points. In addition to the quality management, due to the goal of zero-error requirements for chip design, it must extend in details. Therefore, although the author personally joins in the issues, there are still many shortcomings and bind spots, and some problems are not comprehensively studied. At present, the electronic information industry, or the chip design and manufacturing industry, is still a fast-growing industry. In the next few years, the world’s electronic information products market scale is increasing steadily, and the world’s electronic information industrial pattern will maintain stable. China and other emerging economies will continue to expand the scale of electronic information industry and become the highlights of the world’s electronic information industry, which offers a lot of opportunities for domestic chip design companies. As aforementioned, the quality management of chip design project is very important, related to the ability to grasp the opportunities in the changing market. The good design, high quality chip products and chip application’s reference design will strengthen the chip design company to master the key to success. | |
