中文摘要：	随着我国经济社会的发展，商业银行在其中扮演着日益重要的角色。加入WTO后，我国加快了银行业改革，希望通过借鉴国际上优秀金融机构的产品技术和管理经验，改善我国银行的绩效,从而开始鼓励国外优秀的金融机构作为战略投资者入股我国银行。2002~2006年，我国银行业出现了境外战略投资者的进入热潮，国有商业银行、股份制商业银行和城市商业银行开始积极参与到“引资”、“引智”、“引制”的行列之中。到目前为止，我国商业银行的绩效得到了一定的改善。本文结合定量分析和定性分析方法，力图从理论和实证上能够深入分析本文的研究主题。本文首先对银行引入境外战略投资者的理论进行了回顾，然后对我国上市商业银行引入境外战略投资的现状进行了介绍。接着，指出了境外战略投资改善我国上市商业银行绩效的可能路径，笔者概括出了公司治理路径和经营管理路径，根据以上两个路径提出了本文的研究假设。本文力图全面客观地体现银行的绩效，因此采取财务指标计算出了各银行的绩效值，最后运用面板回归的方法，得出了结论：引入境外战略投资可以改善我国商业银行的整体绩效，主要是通过提升银行的经营管理水平——风险管理能力、创新能力和人力资本实现的。但是境外战略投资并不能完善我国上市商业银行的公司治理水平，因此不能通过这条路径提升我国银行的绩效。
英文摘要：	Abstract After joining WTO, our country is speeding up the reform of the banking industry. In order to learn from the outstanding international financial institutions’ products, technology and management experience, our country began to introduce outstanding foreign financial institutions as strategic investors into Chinese banks. From 2002 to 2006, China's banking industry introduced many foreign strategic investors, the state-owned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks and city commercial banks started to actively participate in the introduction of "investment", "intelligence" and "system" . Up to now, our country commercial banks’ performance has been improved. This paper combines the quantitative and qualitative analysis method to have a deep study in the subject from theoretical and empirical aspects. This article firstly reviews the theory and the present situation of the introduction of foreign strategic investment in Chinese listed commercial banks. And then, points out the possible paths of foreign strategic investment to improve the performance of the listed commercial banks. The author gives out the corporate governance path and management path. Based on the two paths, author puts forward the essay’s hypotheses. This paper decides to comprehensively and objectively reflect the bank's performance, so took the financial index calculation to describe the bank's performance. Finally using panel regression, the essay obtains the conclusions: the introduction of foreign strategic investment can improve the overall performance of China's commercial banks, mainly through improving banks’ management level. But foreign strategic investment does not improve the listed commercial bank corporate governance.
