中文摘要：	中国百科全书事业正式起步于改革开放之后，自1978年姜椿芳发表《关于出版我国百科全书的建议》一文已经历经35个年头，在此过程中，积累了大量的史料和丰富的研究成果，而这些材料的梳理、分析、研究无疑可以帮助我们认清目前百科全书发展的现状、面临的问题，在了解该事业的基本特征的前提下，把握其未来的发展方向，从目前百科全书事业所处的急剧变化的时期来看，这是很有必要的。然而百科全书事业是一个非常宏大的课题，其中包含很多的研究内容，想要将其过程梳理清晰，就有必要找到一个很好的角度，本文认为选取中国大百科全书出版社这一与中国百科事业有着紧密联系、出版百科全书类图书最多、并且在日后仍将以百科全书作为其主要出版物的出版社作为案例，能够为我们更好地研究我国百科全书事业提供一个良好的契机，帮助我们更好的与中国百科全书的创始人、研究者、编辑或相关从业者建立联系，从而更为准确的把握我国百科全书事业的发展历程、现实情况，并基于从业者的访谈数据对我国百科全书事业未来的发展趋势进行分析，最终实现本文的研究目的。以往研究图书事业史，往往采用分阶段的方法对其进行阶段性特征的分析梳理和归纳总结，而分阶段的标准则是在图书事业发展进程中所发生的重大事件，鉴于中国大百科全书事业史历史尚短，且本文的研究对象主要为百科全书理论研究、编版实践和编版主体单位的改制进程三个方面，因此，为保证大事件选取标准的统一性和科学性，本文构建了阶段性特征划分标准的判断体系，试图通过衡量事件对中国百科全书事业三个维度的影响程度，并以这些事件为切点，对我国百科全书事业进行阶段性划分，从而我国百科全书事业的发展历程进行梳理，进而为后文的发展历程研究、现状分析研究以及趋势分析研究奠定基础。基于上述理由，本文选取中国大百科全书出版社作为案例，通过对改革开放以来，我国百科全书事业发展历程史实数据的搜集和分析，综合百科全书相关研究成果，尤其是近12年以来的研究文献，利用案例研究法、半结构化访谈法、大事件法等研究方法，先对百科全书的发展历程进行阶段性划分，其后从理论研究成果、百科全书编版实践、百科全书类出版社改制进程三个方面对我国百科全书事业的发展历程进行梳理，现状进行分析，最后针对现今我国百科全书事业面临的网络互动化、改制企业化等问题进行深入探讨，并对其发展趋势进行初步预测，从而实现对我国百科全书事业发展历程尽可能全面展现和尽可能深入研究的目的。
英文摘要：	The Encyclopedia Industry of China formally commenced after the Reform and Opening up. It has been 35 years since Jiang Chun Fong published the article named "The Recommendation on the Publication of Chinese Encyclopedia "in 1978. During this process, a large amount of historical document and research achievements has been accumulated, sorted out, analyzed and researched, which can undoubtedly help us recognize the current status and problems in the development of encyclopedia. On the premise of the understanding about the basic characteristics of this domain, it is very necessary to grasp its future direction, in view of the drastic change of Encyclopedia. While the Encyclopedia Industry of China is a grand project, which involves much research contents, it is quite essential to go along with a right perspective in order to make the process clear. Therefore, the author holds the view that, as Encyclopedia of China Publishing House is closely associated with Encyclopedia Industry of China, and published most encyclopedia books, and will continue to be the major encyclopedia publisher in China, it is suggested to be selected as the case, which can provide a great opportunity with the study of the Encyclopedia of China to help us establish a better contacting within the founders, researchers, editors and others related to Chinese Encyclopedia, and furthermore recognize the development process and current status of it, and finally achieves the research purposes of this thesis by analyzing future development of Encyclopedia of China based on interview data. In the previous studies the history of books, the phased approach was often adopted to analyze and summarize the characteristics of different phases, the standard of which is the important events in the development of books industry. In consideration of the short history of Chinese Encyclopedia and the fact that the object of this paper is mainly theoretical research, edition practice as well as its transforming progress, in the purpose of accordance and scientificalness of the chosen events, the paper constructs the judgement system standardized by phase characteristics, trying to sort out the development progress of Chinese Encyclopedia and thus lay foundations to progress research, current analysis and trend study, through measuring the events’ influence to the three dimensions and by which dividing the phases of Encyclopedia Industry of China. For these reasons, the paper selects the Encyclopedia of China Publishing House as a case, by collecting and analyzing the historical document in the progress of Chinese Encyclopedia after the reform and opening, colligating relevant research achievements, especially documentation in the last 12 years, through the methods of case study, semi-structure and great events, divides the progressive history of encyclopedia. Then from the perspective of theoretical research achievements, complete edition practice and publisher transforming process, it sorts out the development progress of Encyclopedia Industry of China and analyzes the current status. Finally it penetrates on the interactive network and enterprise restructure, which faced by Encyclopedia of China nowadays, and predicts its development trend, thus comprehensively demonstrates and conducts in depth research on the Encyclopedia Industry of China.
