中文摘要:数字化信息时代,计算机技术、现代通信技术的迅速发展推动着人类社会的前进,对图书馆的服务产生了深远的影响。一方面信息技术为图书馆在知识经济时代的进一步发展奠定了基础,提供了更为广阔的发展空间和机遇;另一方面,网络技术和多媒体技术改变了人们的学习方式和信息需求,信息与知识的共享、合作与交流的重要性不言而喻。信息共享空间的提出正符合人们的新需求和图书馆在新时代、新环境下的发展要求。 信息共享空间(Information Commons)简称IC,是20世纪90年代末国外高校图书馆为适应用户需求变化和研究需要而建立起来的一种新型服务模式,已经被越来越多的图书馆采用,成为大学图书馆重要的发展趋势之一。IC既是一种物理设施空间,也是一种独特的查询和获取信息的虚拟环境,其主要的目的是提供一站式服务,促进合作学习与研究创新,培养信息素养。随着IC在大学图书馆的成功实施,其实践发展颇为迅速,而理论发展则相对缓慢,因此,研究IC的构建模式,能将实践上升到理论层次,从而更好地指导今后的实践发展,对新理念和新型服务模式的传播与广泛应用具有重大的意义。 本文界定了IC的概念范畴,阐述了IC的广义概念和狭义概念,广义的IC可以理解为以图书馆为中心的,以保障信息获取自由和民主权利为目的的公共性开放环境;狭义的IC是一个以图书馆为基础提供各类信息资源,以设备、技术、人员(包括图书馆员和信息专家)为支撑提供一站式服务的,促进协作式研究、学习与交流的空间。笔者从狭义概念出发来研究IC的构建模式,通过文献调研(网站调查)和案例分析对IC的理论研究和实践进展进行了总结和分析,归纳出IC现有的两种构建模式(空间模式和层次模式)并分析其优势与不足,在此基础上从系统论的视角探讨IC的构建模式:将IC视为一个开放系统,运用系统论及相关理论指导其构建,提出IC构建的系统模式,即IC是由控制模块、物理模块、虚拟模块和支持模块有机结合构成的与环境发生信息交换的整体,然后从要素、功能与环境三方面分析了IC的系统模式,并论述了IC系统模式规划与实施的内容及方法。 
英文摘要:In the digital information age, the rapid development of computer and communication technologies have promoted the human society’s progresses and have a far-reaching influence on library services. On one hand, the information technology laid the foundation for the future development of libraries in the era of knowledge-based environment and provided opportunities and a broader space for development; on the other hand, network and multimedia technologies have changed people’s learning style and information needs. So information sharing, cooperation and communication are more and more important, and the proposition of Information Commons meets the patron’s new needs and the development of libraries in new conditions. Information Commons, called IC, is a new infrastructure and service model emerged in academic libraries at abroad in late 1990s, to meet the needs of research and study of the patrons, and has now been used in more and more libraries. It is among the most significant trends in college and university libraries in recent years. IC is a new type of physical facility or area, an exclusively online environment in which information is queried and available. The main goals of IC are to provide one—stop shopping for a variety of information services, facilitate collaborative research and learning, promote innovation and foster information literacy. With the successful implementation of IC in many university libraries, its practice develops rather rapidly, but the theoretical development is relatively slow. So researching on the architecture mode of IC can make the practice up to the theoretical level and be able to guide the practice development in the future, and it is of great significance for the wider use of the new concept and new service model. The paper defines the concept of the IC, discusses the broad and narrow concept of it. Broad IC can be considered as a public open environment which take the library as a center in order to protect the freedom of access to information and democratic rights; narrow IC is a library space which provide basic information resources and one-stop surport services through the equipment, technology and staff (including librarians and information specialists) for promoting collaborative research, learning and communication. The writer studies the architecture mode of the IC from the narrow concept. First, reviews the theoretical study and practical progress through the literature research (site survey) and case analysis. Second, sums up the two existing architecture mode (space mode and layer mode), and analyzes its strengths and weaknesses. Then the writer explores the architecture mode of the IC on the basis of systemic perspective. As the IC can be regarded as an open system, the writer uses the system theory and related theories to guide its construction, proposes the system mode for the architecture of the IC: it is a organic combination of the control module, the physical module, the virtual module and the support module and has the overall information exchange with the environment. And then analyses the mode from three aspects of elements, functions and environment, and discusses the contents and methods of planning and implementation of IC’s system mode.
