中文摘要：	创新与创业一直是推动经济发展与社会进步的重要力量。20世纪80年代以来，创业在促进经济增长、增加就业、提高人均收入等方面的作用日益突出，进而受到政府和学术界的普遍关注，创业活动的重要性促使世界上许多商学院开设了创业教育项目，一股强劲的创业研究热潮也在我国悄然兴起。 我国是耐火材料的生产和消费大国。近年来，在建材、钢铁、有色金属、电力、石化等行业的带动下，国内耐火材料的需求呈稳步增长的态势。河南作为全国最大的耐火材料产业化生产基地，各类规模以上耐火材料生产企业达700余家，遍及全省25个县、市，形成了数量可观的企业群体。耐火材料产量、销售收入和利税总额均占全国的1/3以上。但其快速发展的同时，也存在诸多现实问题和矛盾，亟待解决。 本文以创业学、经济学、心理动机学和战略管理理论为理论依据，把创业看作一个动态的过程，以河南现存耐火材料企业为研究对象，通过文献分析、问卷调查和企业家访谈，并以部分有代表性的企业为例，着重考察其创业环境、创业模式、创业者动机、创业绩效以及它们之间的关联性和因果关系等，通过对它们的分析和研究，以期归纳出河南耐火材料企业创业环境和创业行为的特点，找出制约河南耐火材料企业发展的若干症结，并提出自己的建议，旨在为政策制定者、企业家和潜在的创业者提供借鉴，帮助河南耐火材料企业走出“小而不精、多而不强”的怪圈，提高河南耐火材料企业的整体实力。
英文摘要：	Innovation and entrepreneurship has always been giving an impetus to the economic development and social progress. Since 80’s in the 20 century, entrepreneurship has been increasingly playing critical role in the area of economic development, job creation and the increase of average revenune of people.Attention from government and acadamic circle has been drawn, the importance of entrepreneurship has made the establishment of the entrepreneurial education programme in the colleges worldwide. The research on the entrepreneurship also has been hot in china. China is a large country of production and consume of refractories.The demand of refractory in our contry has been steadily increasing thanks to the development of industries of buliding materials, iron and steel, non-ferrous metal, electric power and petrolchemical.As the largest production base of refractory in china, Hanan province has over 700 companies of refractory, spreading out 25 counties and cities. The output,sales and tax revenues amounted up to 1/3 of the overall in china. Through the great improvement has been made in Henan province ,there are still a lot of realistic problems needed to be solved. Based on the therories of entrepreneurship,economics , mental motivations and trategic management, entrepreneurial environments and pattern, Entrepreneurial motivation , entrepreneurial performance and its correlations and cause-and-effects has been studied by the way of documention analysis, questionaires and entrepreneurs interviews, taking the typical company as examples. The real stick of problem hindering the development of refractory in Henan province is expected to be found out through the study and research. Recommandation also has been put forward in this thesis ,to promote the whole strength of refractory industry in Henan province ,to provide reference to the policy-maker,entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs, give assistance to them helping step out of the stanger cirle of “small but not sound,more but not strong”.
