中文摘要:金融体系的自由化和全球化是跨国银行海外投资的市场背景,随着我国改革开放的步伐,良好的经济环境和市场潜力,吸引着外资银行投资规模的大幅扩张。自20世纪90年代中后期,零售业务已成为国际现代商业银行利润的重要来源,零售业务的稳健经营决定着外资银行在中国经营成果的有效性。本文首先回顾了外资银行在中国零售业务的发展历程及现状趋势,肯定了其近年来在中国零售业务的经营成果,并分析了其取得成效的原因,及采取了先进的国际零售银行经营模式。通过定性分析和案例分析的方法,研究其经营模式的特征,从组织架构、管理模式等方面剖析其内部动因,从渠道拓展、产品定位、客户营销等方面分析其适应中国市场的经营策略,在验证国际先进零售银行模式有效性的同时,为我国银行业的国际化发展提供借鉴。但是,原有的经营模式在不断变化的环境中也会暴露出很多问题,本文通过对如监管环境、同业竞争、人力资本等问题的逐一分析,得出外资银行在中国零售业务经营模式调整和完善的必要性。同时,通过对外资银行业务健康发展影响我国金融环境的作用进行分析,也明确了其经营模式改进的重要性。本文针对金融危机背景下外资银行零售业务发展现状,对于其经营模式的改进提出了四点建议,即从营销模式的拓展、产品和服务本土化、优化人力资本结构和财富管理方面调整策略。目的在于一方面,使得外资银行在更适合中国国情的前提下平稳健康的运营,分享我国经济发展带来的成果;另一方面,也希望使外资银行意识到,只有真正选择适合中国市场的经营模式,为我国居民提供国际化的优质服务,加强与中资机构的合作,遵循中国政府的政策导向,才能达到共赢互利的结果,才能真正的实现本地化经营的目标。 
英文摘要:The liberalization and globalization of financial system is the market background of foreign banks’ overseas investment. With the pace of China's reform and opening up, well-performed economic environment and immense market potential, multi-national banks expand their investment significantly. Since the late nineteen ninties, retail banking has become an important source of profit for the international modern commercial banks. Retail banking’s steadily management decides the outcome of foreign banks in China directly. This paper first reviews the development of the retail business of foreign banks in China, current situation and trend, affirming their achievement on retail business in China in recent years, and analyzing the reasons behind, one of which: adopting advanced international retail banking business model. Through qualitative analysis and case analysis method, study their business model characteristics, from the organizational structure, management mode, analyzes the internal motivations, from their channel development, product positioning, marketing and other aspects, analyze their business strategy to adapt Chinese market. In the meanwhile of proving advanced international retail banking model, providing practical lessons for Chinese banks’ internationalization development. However, many problems also exposed in the original business model during a changing environment. This paper, based on the analysis about regulatory environment, inter-banks competition, human resources etc, come to a conclusion: the necessity for foreign banks in China to adjust and perfect retail business model. At the same time, through the analysis of relationships between foreign banks business development and China's financial environment, this paper also point out the importance to improve their business model. According to the current status of foreign banks retail business under the background of financial crisis, I put forward four proposals to improve their business model, namely the development of the marketing mode, localization of products and services, optimizing human resources structure and wealth management strategy adjustment. Purposes lie in, on one hand, that foreign banks operate stably and healthily under the premise of a more suitable for China's national conditions, sharing the achievement of China economy development; on the other hand, making foreign banks realize that the business model which suitable for Chinese market, providing Chinese residents international quality services, strengthening the corporation with Chinese institutions, conforming to Chinese government policy guidance, can achieve mutual benefit and win-win results, can truly achieve localization management.
