| 中文摘要: | 川沙,浦东重镇,中国上海迪士尼乐园的所在地。这片古老而又神奇的土地,因现代文明的洗礼,正焕发出勃勃生机。川沙经济园区是这片土地上一个特别的空间区域,占地6.92平方公里的规划面积属于国家发改委批准的上海市级开发区(省级)。在走过十年的开发历程后,川沙经济园区已经成为川沙新镇经济的重要支柱,也是浦东经济发展的重要板块。今天,川沙经济园区面临着新的机遇和挑战。在未来可以预见的历史时期中,园区应以什么样的方式发展?应该采取怎样的战略?如何探索富有特色的园区发展之路?战略是竞争制胜的理论,是赢的逻辑。面对国际国内政治经济形势瞬息万变的局面和经济增长方式转型的大趋势,川沙经济园区作为中国数以千计开发区中的一份子,研究、梳理其发展战略思维及逻辑具有十分积极的现实意义。对开发区行业的发展战略研究,目前暂无公认的、专门的、成熟的理论模型,本文在将相关战略理论成果应用于开发区发展战略研究方面做了有益的探索和尝试。本文将“两颗钻石”——迈克尔.波特(Michael E.Porter)的“钻石体系模型”和梅森.卡彭特(Mason A.Carpenter)的“战略钻石模型”,以及艾森哈特(Eisenhardt),提出的位置逻辑、杠杆逻辑与机遇逻辑有机融合使用,这样一种理论与实际有机结合的研究方法,不仅为川沙经济园区提出了具有针对性、实用性和前瞻性的发展战略,也为开发区这个特殊行业的发展战略研究提供了全新的视角。本研究得出的川沙经济园区发展战略的领域、工具、特色、进程和逻辑,既传承历史、基于现实,又面向未来,更具有可操作性。 | |
| 英文摘要: | Chuansha is a key township of Pudong, Shanghai. It is the site of the China Shanghai Disneyland Entertainment Park. It lies on land with a long history where wonders abound. Chuansha Economic Park occupies 6.92 square kilometres on premium land approved by the State Development and Reform Commission as a development zone under the auspices of Shanghai City. Having been operating for 10 years, it has become a pillar in the economy of the new Chuansha Township and an important component for the economic growth of the entire Pudong region. Today Chuansha Economic Park faces new challenges and fresh opportunities. For a foreseeable future under a historical framework, how should the Park continue to grow and expand? What growth strategy can we adopt? How should we charter a unique road map leading to further vibrant growth for the Park? As one of the many development zones currently existing in China, Chuansha Economic Park is confronted with fast changing political and economic situations in China and abroad, and a broad trend of macro-economic growth in transition. Fortunately growth strategies have offered us a theory of competitive advantage and a logic to win. Thus it would have a real positive and practical value to thoroughly examine the thinking and logic behind its current and future growth strategy. Currently there is no specialized, mature theory model widely recognized as acceptable when it comes to researching development strategies for the sphere of development zones. This thesis attempts to meaningfully explore the subject using relevant research findings available in the area of management and planning strategy theory. My thesis examines and utilizes “2 diamonds”, i.e. Michael E. Porter’s diamond model and Mason A. Carpenter’s strategy diamond model. It combines their strengths with those of the strategic logic of position, leverage and opportunity as advanced by Kathleen M. Eisenhardt. Thus in applying theoretic models to a realistic issue this paper proposes a specific, concrete, and well-targeted progressive growth strategy model, at the same time hoping to offer a brand new perspective on researching growth strategies for the emerging development zone industry in China. In addressing the challenge to grow Chuansha Economic Park this thesis explores arena, vehicle, differentiator, staging and economic logic. The research has been done based on reality but it also looks into the past and future. Hence it is historically grounded, yet forward looking and practicable. | |
