中文摘要：	可持续发展模式是人类生存与延续的必然选择，是人类经历了对自身前途、未来命运与所赖以生存的环境之间关系的最深刻思考后达成的共识。所以可持续发展关乎人类和地球命运，理所应当成为人类的行动指南，切实地贯彻到每个人身上、每件事中去。银行作为特殊的公众企业,为各行各业融通资金、输送给养，银行之于社会如同心脏之于身体的重要地位。作为各行各业的生命源泉，银行拥有着其他行业不可比拟的独特优势；与此同时，行业特质也赋予了银行更多的社会责任，使之在人类可持续发展的历史进程中扮演着重要角色。从我国国内的现状看，内资银行已经逐渐意识到可持续发展的重要性，亦或已经开始了一些行动。但是目前还处于比较浅的层次上，大多数国内银行还是停留在做一些公益活动，或对环境保护的宣传活动上，没有实施到金融产品和业务运营的层面上，更谈不到形成可持续发展的战略体系。总体上，就对可持续发展的理解和操作实践而言，我国商业银行与国外同行相比，还存在不少差距。本文以渣打银行为例，深入研究了渣打银行对可持续发展的理解和战略模式的构建与执行，分析渣打如何通过可持续发展战略打造核心竞争力，实现企业自身与人类社会的双赢，为我国银行业的可持续发展建设起到借鉴作用。本文以可持续发展理论为基础，结合了渣打银行的可持续发展理念及其方法进行分析研究。第一章是对本文的研究背景与意义、研究内容与方法以及研究框架与核心问题进行了介绍；对可持续发展、企业社会责任和公益营销的概念进行回顾，对后文的理论联系实践进行铺垫，为文章的论述奠定了基础。第二章从对渣打银行的介绍开始，对渣打银行的可持续发展理念及战略模式进行深入的分析和研究。第三章和第四章深入探讨渣打银行如何从经济、生态、社会三方面开展可持续发展策略。第五章为对整篇文章的总结，提出了研究展望。通过对渣打银行的可持续发展理念及战略模式深入的分析和研究，更加肯定了可持续发展的重要性和必要性，并且对可持续发展战略的实施方法有更深入的认识。在此基础上，将渣打银行可持续发展的战略思想，执行方法和成功经验进行总结，希望可以对我国内资银行有所帮助，并可以在行业中推广借鉴。
英文摘要：	Sustainable development is the inevitable choice for human existence and continuation, the human think of the most profound relationship between future of their self and the nature environment and reached a consensus. Therefore, sustainable development related to the fate of humanity and the earth, as it should be guide to action, earnestly implement to each person and everything. Banking is special public industry, which aims to deliver supplies of funds; bank’s important financial function to the society is as the heart’s position in the body. As the important function to communities, bank has a unique advantage unmatched than other industries; At the same time, financial industry characteristics also require bankers to take more social responsibility, and play an important role in the historical progress of human sustainable development. From the current situation in our country, domestic banks had aware of the importance of sustainable development; even some actions had already been taken. But it is still at a shallow level; most domestic banks are still focus on some public welfare activities, or environmental protection campaign, and hadn’t formed a strategy structure for sustainable development, and impossible to implement in more specific level about financial products and financial services. Overall, from the understanding of sustainable development and operational practice, our domestic banks have a huge gap with the foreign counterparts. In this paper, we in-depth study and analysis on Standard Chartered Bank's understanding of sustainable development and strategies model building up and implementation, Standard Chartered’s sustainable development strategy created her core competitiveness and establish the differential competitive advantage in the banking industry. It is exactly a very good example for our local banks to learn in the progress of sustainable development system build up. The first chapter is the introduction of the background and the study significance, contents and research methods, and it also shows out the research framework and the core issues which established the foundation for whole article discussion. Moreover, this part creates out the basic concepts of sustainable development, and reviews the origin and development of this theory which establishes the basic elements of discussion later on. Chapter Two is to introduce the Standard Chartered bank as beginning, and then, in-depth analysis and research on Standard Chartered Bank’s concept and strategic model of sustainable development. Then, Chapter Three and Four fully analyzes Standard Chartered Bank’s sustainable development theory respectively from economy, environment and society aspect. Finally, Chapter Five makes the conclusion for the entire article, and uses research prospect as the end. Through the in-depth analysis and research on Standard Chartered Bank‘s sustainable strategic system, make us deeply ensure the importance and necessity of sustainable development, and SCB’s example also provide better understanding and implement approach to sustainability. Meanwhile, on this basis, we can also promote Standard Chartered Bank sustainable strategy experience and success stories to domestic banks and setup a good example on the sustainable construction.
