中文摘要:摘 要 随着我国金融业对外开放大门的全面开启,中国银行业已经迈进了一个全新的发展时期。外资银行无论从地域上还是经营范围上都越来越深入的影响着中国金融业的发展。2008年全球金融风暴来袭,外资银行在华零售业务的经营进入全面发展阶段也已经近五年的时间,随着众多世界级的老牌金融机构纷纷落马,全球银行业包括老牌的跨国银行都正在面临着前所未有的考验。如何在日益复杂的全球金融环境中把握自身的经营方向,在不断提升自身盈利能力的同时还可以有效的抗击因全球化经营所带来的各类金融风险,是包括外资银行在内的所有在华经营的银行需要共同面对的共同问题。这在一定程度上影响了外资银行零售业务在华经营的竞争能力,迫使外资银行不得不在短时间内转变其在华的经营模式,适度的调整经营方向。但是这一转变只是被动的解决了金融危机导致的外资银行零售业务在华经营中出现的问题,外资银行零售业务在华经营中的主要矛盾并没有根除,因此其在华经营模式仍需不断调整。 本文首先回顾了跨国银行对外直接投资及经营模式的相关理论,为论文的研究奠定了理论基础。此后,从了解外资银行在华零售业务的发展历程为起点,本文在肯定了外资银行零售银行业务在金融风暴发生之前在华经营的成果的同时,分析了外资银行在华经营取得初步成效的原因,这部分的分析也反映出外资银行在进入中国金融市场初期采取的经营模式。 由于金融风暴的爆发,外资银行在华零售业务面临着前所未有的考验,其经营出现了意想不到的困境。原有的经营模式在经营环境发生变化时暴露出许多问题。通过对这些问题的逐一分析可以发现外资银行在华零售业务的经营模式在某些环节存在调整的必要。此后,本文又对外资银行针对金融危机的影响所采取的应对措施进行了总结,并从正反两个方面分析了外资银行应对金融危机所采取的调整方案在成效及影响两个方面产生的结果。通过对外资银行在金融危机发生前后其在华零售业务经营模式的系统分析不难发现,外资银行始终在摸索其在华经营得最佳模式,并不断的尝试调整其经营策略,适时的去解决在经营中层出不穷的问题,但其结果总是差强人意。随着外资银行零售业务在华的发展日趋深入,其在东道国牟取利益的投资本质越发明显。但是相对严格的金融监管和急功近利的经营模式都对外资银行零售业务在华的发展带来了许多不确定的因素。只有积极配合国家金融政策的调整,切实以中国金融消费者的需求为导向,运用自身的优势业务,外资银行才能真正的实现本地化经营的目标,从而取得在华经营的成功。 作为本文研究的核心内容,对外资银行在华零售业务经营模式的改进方案,本文主要阐述了三个方面的内容:首先,通过对外资银行在华零售业务的经营模式在金融危机前后转变的对比分析,得出跨国银行所采取的经营模式并不都是无懈可击的,其目前仍存在改进的必要。其次,只有在根据市场及自身优势建立起坚固的经营基础后,不断以创新和调整作为有益的补充,才能实现成功跨国经营的目标;同时,中国金融市场的特殊性也决定了外资银行零售业务在经营模式的选择上必须有别于其在其他投资国的模式,从而形成其改进的原则。再次,本文表明了外资银行现行的零售银行经营模式即使可以解决目前后金融危机时期所遇到的个别问题,而这些调整并没有从根本上解决外资银行与中国市场之间深层次的不协调,从更长的时期来看还可能会引起其他方面的矛盾。因而提出了对如何调整外资银行在华零售业务经营模式的一些看法,包括投资方式的转变,充分利用跨国经营优势,提高人员及产品的专业度和经营理念坚持以客户为中心等措施。此外,随着中国金融产业的不断成熟与发展,中国银行业也存在着海外投资的潜在需求,也面临着跨国经营中必须面临的诸多问题。因此本文在结论部分还归纳出了作为跨国银行在东道国发展零售业务时组建自身经营模式中应考虑的因素及需要注意哪些方面的问题,并以外资银行在华经营中存在的问题作为依据,提出中资银行在经营中的改进方案。 在论文的结构方面,本文在分析结论的过程中运用了跨国银行对外直接投资及经营模式的相关理论,首先描述了金融危机发生前后外资银行在华零售业务经营模式转变的过程及运行结果,然后通过比较分析的方法得出外资银行在华零售业务经营中的劣势,由此归纳出目前外资银行在华零售业务的经营所采用的模式并非最佳选择的结果,并通过经验总结的方法得出外资银行零售业务在华经营模式的选择应是其在华经营优势与中国国情相结合的结果,从而引伸出本文对于金融危机后外资银行在华零售业务应采取的经营模式的看法。 从全文的讨论结构可以发现通过对外资银行在华零售业务经营模式的分析,可以更加明晰的反映出中资银行在国际银行竞争中存在的弱势,提出了中资银行在国内、外经营中应关注的经营问题。但其实无论中资还是外资银行,无论是在本土经营还是在跨国经营的过程中,仅仅以能够应对此时此刻的挑战作为经营目标是不会在实际的经营中取得最终成功的。而只有通过不断的提升自我,达成企业本质性的成长、成熟和强大,让竞争对手相形见绌,这样才是银行成功经营模式的真正体现。 关键词:外资银行; 零售业务; 经营模式  
英文摘要:Abstract With the opening of China’s market to the outside world, China’s finance industry has upgraded to a new stage of development. Foreign banks, in terms of geographic scope or the business area, are playing an increasing role in China’s financial industry. In 2008, the fifth year from the financial market was opened to the foreign banks, bearing the global financial crisis and the bankrupts of many veterans and world-class financial organizations, the global banking industry is facing the unprecedented challenges. At present, it is a serious subject to the foreign banks about how to achieve the top among these international competitors and how to defend the banking system against the various financial risks that come from the economic globalization while enhancing their own profitability. It is the same challenge to the local banks. The global environment weakened the competitive power of the foreign banks retail business in China, and it leads to the conversion and the adjustment on their business model in China within a short time. However the conversion just solved some of the problems except the key ones. It is necessary to the foreign banks to adjust their business model according to the Chinese specific circumstances for the further action. First of all, the analysis refers to the Global Bank International Investment theories and the Business Model theories as the foundation. Then it starts from the description about the process that the development of the foreign banks retail business in China, then discusses the causes about why the foreign banks achieved the initiatory development and confirms their successful operation as the new investors in China. It concludes the business model that the foreign banks carried out when they were involved in the competition of the Chinese financial market. With the spread of the global financial crisis, the foreign banks experienced the challenges and difficulties that they have not ever experienced in the host country. Most of them entered the puzzledom of the development. There were a lot of problems were revealed from the actual retail business model. It can be found that an improved model is necessary to the foreign banks business in China by the analysis about the problems one by one. After that, the report summarizes the methods that the foreign banks carried out to solve the credit crisis in China and their effects from the positive and the negative. It is obvious that the foreign banks always search the best business model in China after the above analysis, but the results were unsatisfactory after a series of improvements. As the main purpose of the international investment, to achieve the maximum profit from the host country, has been more and more obvious. However, under the strict financial control policy and the high profit intended business management, there are a lot of uncertain factors to their development in China. The real success on the localization and the international investment is base on the model adjustments to fit the request of the Chinese financial environment. As the spirit of the report, the measures about how to achieve the appropriate business model are discussed from three directions. Firstly, it is an uncertain question what is the best choice to the retail business model in China. It should be alterable with the development of the Chinese financial environment. However the improvement is necessary to the actual one, because it has prevented the foreign banks’ business in China from the fast development. Secondly, the achievement of the international investment purpose should be based on their own advantages and supplemented by the innovations. At the same time, the specialties of the Chinese financial market decided it is different from other host countries on the choice of the foreign banks business model. Any improvement must abide by some principles. Thirdly, the report proposes some specific suggestions to avoid the possibility of the more complicated contradictions are caused from the actual business model. Moreover, with the Chinese financial development, the local bank is on the way to fulfill the global investment, so the report proposes a few ideas about how to control the risk and achieve the successful investment when they enter a new country. In terms of the report framework, the analysis refers to the Global Bank International Investment theories and the Business Model theories. It describes the differences of the foreign banks business model in China before and after the financial crisis, firstly. Then it draws out the disadvantages of the foreign banks business model in China by the comparative method and concludes the model is not the most effective one in China. From this conclusion, the analysis proposed the suggestion and opinion about what should be improved and corrected as the retails business model in China. As the further discussion, it put forward the suggestion and the opinion about how to develop the global business to the local banks to overcome the international competition at the end of the analysis. It is more obvious that there are a lot of disadvantages in the business model of the Chinese banks compared with the foreign bank from the analysis. The report has proposed the common problems to both of them. It is insufficient to defend the challenges appeared in the business to an aggressive bank.
