中文摘要：	随着全球竞争的日益加剧，供应链管理在经济全球化过程中越来越得到广泛的重视，成为企业界探索，学术界研究的焦点。供应商作为供应链中的关键一环对供应链整体运作举足轻重，直接决定了供应链及其相关企业的竞争优势。 本文回顾了供应链管理的相关概念和理论，并分析了供应商管理，供应商关系管理以及战略伙伴关系的重要性；在此基础上，结合跨国公司的实例，将Emerson VA公司作为重点研究对象，介绍了公司的背景和经营状况，对其进行了SWOT分析，对其内部优势、劣势，外部机会与威胁进行了阐述；并且着重分析了Emerson VA公司作为典型的装配制造企业，其供应商的分类、结构、特点以及供应商管理中存在的主要问题，并提出了供应商培育对企业发展的重要性；然后从三个方面阐述了如何对供应商进行培育并列举了部分实例进行分析，包括技术能力的培育，质量控制能力的培育和计划管理能力的培育。最后分析了传统供应商关系的弊端，提出了与供应商建立合作伙伴关系，创造信息共享的环境等，以期达到双方互利共赢的目的。 本文的主要创新点是结合具体装配制造企业实际，从供应商培育的视角探讨了供应商发展，建立稳定的供应链模式。愿以此文在理论和实践的方面对相关企业有一定的应用参考价值。
英文摘要：	Confronting the dramatic competition speed up in the globalized economic environment, supply chain management has been paid much more attention to. Not only more and more enterprise tries to fulfill it, expert spends much time to study this theory also. The competency of the whole supply chain and its relevant corporate is influenced by the supplier who is one of the most important parties in supply chain. This thesis illustrates some fundamental concepts and theories of supply chain management, and analyzes the importance of supplier management, supplier relationship management and the strategic cooperation relationship between suppliers and manufactures. This thesis use multinational company Emerson VA as the subject of study, so it introduce the company background and operation status first, then do SWOT analysis of the company. As an assembly manufacture, this thesis analysis the supplier category, structure, characteristics and the main issues during its supply chain management, in this way, the thesis highlight the importance of supplier development for this kind of company. This thesis analysis three aspects of supplier development, they are technical development, quality development and material planning ability development. At last, this thesis analyzes the negative influence of traditional supplier relationship and emphasizes the importance of new strategic cooperation supplier relationship. Based on the cooperation and information share, manufacture and supplier can reach a win-win situation which will benefit to both sides. Based on actual case of an assembly company, this thesis studied supplier management improvement and steady supply chain setting up from a new triangle--- supplier development.
