中文摘要:保险行业在我国经济中占有重要地位,而我国保险集团规模及保费收入均占行业总规模的75%以上,因此,保险集团的发展状况直接决定我国保险业的健康情况。Siemas(1992)认为,金融机构经营的成败取决于管理品质,而管理品质主要通过经营效率体现。主导中国保险业的保险集团在市场全面开放后的2006年至今相对竞争力如何?哪些因素制约其经营效率的提高?国内学者尚未对此作出回答。本文期望通过对比分析我国保险业全面开放后保险集团的经营效率,研究影响我国保险集团经营效率的因素,为我国保险集团提高经营效率、我国保险业持续健康发展提供依据。 本文在介绍研究的现实背景后,首先对国内外文献进行综述,找出国内外就保险集团研究存在的差异;其次,运用DEAP2.1软件,评价2006年至2008年间我国保险集团与欧、美保险集团的经营效率;再次,利用Tobit回归模型,以前文计算得到的三个经营效率值分别作为被解释变量,检验假设提出的10个影响因素与经营效率的作用关系;最后,将中国平安保险集团作为研究主体,以案例的形式,使用实证研究得到的结论,比较分析造成中国平安保险集团和中国人寿保险集团经营效率差异的原因。基于全文分析,本文对我国保险集团和保险业监管机构分别提出具有针对性的建议。 本文研究发现,我国部分保险集团在研究期间的经营效率与欧、美保险集团差距不大;影响我国保险集团经营效率的因素主要包括人员劳动效率、资金使用效率等;中国平安在2006年和2007年经营效率较低的关键因素是“人员劳动效率”和“资金使用效率”,2008年则为“上年服务质量”表现不佳。 我国学术界鲜有将我国保险集团作为研究对象,进行经营效率相关的实证研究;此外,本文以保险市场全面开放后的2006年-2008年作为研究区间,除数据即时的特点外,更引领国内学者对市场开放后服务主体表现的后续分析。虽然本文样本数量有限,但基本可以客观反映实际情况,得到的结论具有较强的实用性,因此,本文是对我国保险集团相关实证研究的有益探索。 
英文摘要:The insurance industry occupies an important position in China’s economy, the market capitalisation of listed insurance companies is about 7% of a-share market capitalization in 2009. In addition, the insurance group (holdings) total assets, equity merger and premium income is 75% of the total scale of the industry, therefore, insurance groups directly determine the health of Chinese insurance industry. Siemas (1992), financial institutions depend on the quality of management, quality management, mainly through the operation efficiency. How well are Chinese insurance groups in the open market since 2006? What factors restrict their operation efficiency? Chinese scholars haven’t made this answer. This paper analyses Chinese insurance groups’ operation efficiency and factors that influence their operation efficiency. This paper will provide suggestion for insurance groups to improve their operation efficiency, in order to get sustained and healthy development. This paper firstly reviews the literature, finds out the differences between domestic and foreign scholars’ study in insurance groups. Secondly, this paper uses DEAP2.1 software to evaluate European, American and Chinese insurance groups’ operational efficiency in 2006-2008. After that, this paper uses three operation efficiencies’ value as explained variables respectively to test the 10 hypotheses by Tobit regression model. Finally, taking Ping An Group as a case, according to the results of before research, comparing Ping An Group’s and China Life Group’s efficiencies. Based on the analysis, this paper proposes several suggestions for insurance groups and insurance regulators. This study finds that some Chinese insurance groups have little gaps with European, American insurance groups during the study. Factors including labor efficiency, the service efficiency of funds, etc influence Chinese insurance groups. The key elements determined Ping An Group’s lower operation efficiency in 2006 and 2007 is "labor efficiency" and "the service efficiency of funds", while for the year 2008, "service quality" poored performance. Chinese scholars rare take insurance group as research object, also the relevant empirical research of operation efficiency. In addition, taking 2006-2008 as the study interval after opening our insurance market will lead domestic scholars for the further research on insurance group’s performance and operation efficiency. Although the sample quantity is limited, but could objectively reflect the actual situation. Also the conclusion has stronger practicability.
