| 中文摘要: | 随着多媒体资源类型和数量不断增长,多媒体日益成为图书馆馆藏的一个重要组成部分,对描述多媒体资源的元数据规范也提出了更高的要求。 本文选择多媒体资源的元数据规范为研究对象,以图书馆多媒体资源建设服务为具体情景,通过文献研究,比较归纳等方法,提出了一个基于FRBR模型的多媒体元数据规范,旨在为图书馆多媒体资源的有效使用和管理提供一定的帮助,并为多媒体资源元数据研究体系进一步的完善提供参考。 本文首先介绍了元数据相关基本概念,给出了元数据规范设计的一般流程,同时对多媒体资源进行了分析,指出了多媒体资源的对象、关系和使用需求,并对已有的多媒体元数据规范进行了梳理,分析了现有图书馆多媒体资源描述的不足。 在此基础上,本文提出使用FRBR模型建立多媒体元数据规范,着重分析了利用FRBR模型中作品、内容表达、载体表现和单件四个实体及其关系,以及利用FRBR模型建立多媒体元数据规范的优势。通过界定多媒体资源的著录对象和著录单位,提出了基于FRBR模型的多媒体元数据规范,并给出了主要元素的定义和著录规则。 最后,本文讨论了基于FRBR的多媒体元数据规范实现方式。针对目前图书馆使用MARC格式进行资源描述的情况,分析了实现多媒体元数据规范与MARC映射的必要性和可能性,给出了元数据规范和CNMARC字段映射的对照表,并提出了CNMARC格式记录FRBR化的算法规则,为多媒体资源层级化显示提供了可参考的实现方法。 | |
| 英文摘要: | With the growth of types and quantities, multimedia resource is becoming an important component of library collections, and calls for a higher quality metadata standard in resource description. In this thesis, tanking multimedia resource as research object and the library multimedia resources construction as specific scenarios, the author tries to design a multimedia resource metadata standard based on the FRBR model by literature analysis, comparison, induction and other methods. The purpose of this research is to make the usage and management of multimedia resources more effectively in the library and provides some reference in the further research to complete multimedia resources metadata research system. Firstly the author introduces the basic concepts of metadata and presents a general process for metadata standard design. The object, relationship and usage requirements of multimedia are point out, the existing multimedia metadata standards are compared and the current insufficiency about the library multimedia collections is analyzed. Then, after analyzing the Work, Expression, Manifestation and Item in the FRBR model and the advantage to use FRBR in multimedia metadata description, a multimedia metadata standard based on FRBR model is proposed. The record objects and record units are defined, the framework of metadata standard is designed and the definition of main elements and the recording rules are provided. Finally, the implementation of multimedia metadata standard base on FRBR is discussed. The author analyzes the necessity and possibility to map between MARC and the multimedia metadata standard in a situation that multimedia resources are usually described in MARC format in the library. A comparison table is proposed and an algorithmic rule is introduced for mapping CNMARC to metadata standard based on FRBR, which provide the probable method to hierarchically display multimedia in OPAC. | |
