中文摘要: | 自加入世界贸易组织之后,我国的经济环境发生了重大而深刻的变化。一方面,经济全球化步伐大大加快,已成为新世纪以来最引人注目的世界经济大趋势;另一方面,随着新科技革命浪潮的兴起,知识、技术和信息对经济增长的贡献越来越大,以信息产业为代表的知识型产业,正在成为世界经济的主要增长点,人类社会正逐步进入知识经济时代。这些经济环境的巨大变化,一方面促进了资源、信息的高速流动,同时也进一步促进了全球竞争的加剧。作为我国现代服务业重要组成部分的酒店业——特别是经济型酒店,也随着国外资本、技术、人才、经营模式的涌入,出现了越来越激烈的竞争和角逐。国内企业在面对如此前所未有的竞争压力和竞争环境下,如何顺应时代发展,实施变革、更新理念,从而保证自身的生存和发展,成为我国经济型酒店所面临的一个严峻的现实问题。 本文首先对经济型酒店(又称快捷酒店、商务酒店)的内涵、特征与形式进行了界定,指出经济型酒店是现代酒店业适应需求变化的产物,是相对于传统的全服务酒店(Full Service Hotel)而存在的一种新的酒店业态。接下来,对我国经济型酒店的发展现状、问题以及竞争状况、国内经济型酒店的发展趋势等做出了详尽的分析,发现,我国的经济型酒店有着广阔的市场前景和发展空间,存在着巨大的潜在需求,而且国外的酒店集团也十分看好中国的经济型酒店市场,纷纷抢滩中国市场。我国的经济型酒店如锦江之星、如家连锁和中江之旅等几个有一定市场影响力的酒店集团正在迅速崛起,同时,随着竞争者的不断加入竞争不断升级,给经济型酒店如何应对国内外竞争提出严峻挑战。在前面行业与竞争分析基础上,论文利用SWOT工具,对我国经济型酒店业自身所具备的优势、劣势以及外部环境中存在的机会和威胁进行全面分析,为制定提升经济型酒店竞争力的战略提供一个比较清晰、全面、系统的判断和直接的思路。 本文的研究表明,我国经济型酒店的优势与劣势同在,机遇与威胁并存,而且机遇大于威胁。为促进我国经济型酒店持续健康发展,作者建议我国经济型酒店应采取以增强型战略为主导的竞争战略,在具体战略举措上,应积极实施发展集团化与连锁化、差异化战略以及低成本运营战略,同时在质量管理、管理专业化以及人力资源等方面为竞争战略的实施提供保证,以推动我国经济型酒店有效应对竞争以及整个行业的健康有序发展。本文的研究不仅会丰富经济型酒店竞争战略研究领域的相关理论,而且能够为我国经济型酒店有效参与竞争,获取持续竞争优势提供理论参考。 | |
英文摘要: | After joining in the World Trade Organization, the economic environments of China has undergone tremendous and the profound transformation. Meanwhile, the globalization of economics, as the most general noticeable worldwide economic trend of the new millennium, is speeding up also. However, along with the tide of the new technology revolution, three elements such as knowledge, technology and information are contributing much more importantly to the economic growth. Taking the information industry for example, the knowledge industry is becoming the main stream of the growth of the world economy, during the process of entering into the new era of knowledge economy gradually. All of the transformation are not solely accelerated by the speedy fluidity of knowledge and resource, but also enhanced by the fierce competition around the globe. As one of the important modern economy's components, the modern hotel industry, concerning the ramification of the economic hotel specifically, is playing a more vital role in the knowledge economy and in the economic globalization developing process, exemplifying the recent trend of the development and competition. The foreign capital or foreign direct investment, technology as well as know how, besides the most talented people and the advanced business models are being taken advantages in the hospitality industry which has brought about fierce competition and great challenge for the domestic enterprises. The domestic or state owned hospitals in China are facing intense pressures of competition unprecedentedly. How to cope with the tide of new management, the implementation of transformation, the creation of new ideas,and the guaranteed survival of the development,has became the new emerging economic focus, meanwhile, being considered as an important topic. The economy hotel, an adaptation to the demand change of the modern hotel industry,is opposite to the full service hotel which stems from the entire service tradition and doctrine. Conceptually, we may assume that the economy hotel is similar to the budget hotel to some extent. As the economy hotel is accepted and becoming popular gradually in its unique target market or market niche since the service characteristics are welcomed by the popular consumption community. It is functioning as a pivotal to the development of China’s tourism. Most probably, China’s economy hotel will have had the broadest market success in the near future, since dozens of overseas hotel groups also favors this market niche. Jin-Jiang hotel, one of our country's star economy hotels, is aiming to take advantage of the world most prestigious hotel groups’ operation experience and knowledge, according to the international standards, hoping to enhances the management and the service level unceasingly. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out qualitative and the quantitative analyses to the development of our country’s economy hotel. With the help of the SWOT analysis, we reached an overall conclusion, which provides the formulation and promotion of economic activities with an optimistic competitive strategy. In the aggregate, this systematic judgment and appraisal will elicit further research and surveys in the field of budget hotels. The author also gives light to some hints on how to cope with the overseas competitions within the industry. Concerning the internal superiority and born inferiority, the exterior opportunity and the threats, the author believes that our country economy hotel will eventually prevail, as a consequence, promoting the economy of our society. He also calls for the development of brand firmly, like the chain hotel management, even with the idea of professional operations, which would advocate the prosperity of our country’s economy hotels. In short, this study offers some reference for how to participate in the global competition, acquire and maintain the continuous competitive advantage successively. | |
