中文摘要:企业多元化经营一直在理论界和企业界存在争论,但多元化与专业化并没有一定之规,多元化与专业化只是表现形式,其实质是企业是否具备相应的核心能力。多元化经营战略来源于投资组合理论,采取多元化发展战略是企业发展壮大的重要策略之一。核心能力是企业可持续发展的源泉和基础,蕴藏于企业组织内部,具有价值优越性、不易模仿性、不可分离性、效应溢出性、动态发展性等特征。 多元化经营战略是企业发展的一种思路和模式,核心能力的培养也不意味着企业只能专注于某一特定行业的生产和经营。本文从核心能力与多元化经营战略之间的关系分析发现,二者之间确实存在着密切的关系,是相辅相成的。多元化经营战略以核心能力的培育提升为基础,核心能力也须利用多元化经营等战略来加强和提升。 企业是一个能力的集合体,核心能力来源并区别于企业的一般能力,需要不断地进行识别、构建、培育、管理和拓展,并应进行评价和提高。本文在分析和比较了基于核心能力的多元化战略理论、基于战略资源的多元化战略理论和基于价值链的多元化战略理论的基础上,着重分析了基于核心能力的多元化战略。并指出:核心能力决定了企业的经营范围和经营风险,如果不注重企业核心能力的培育和提升,企业将面临多元化经营的三种误区。 在分析了与核心能力有关的企业的成长周期的基础上,本文提出,无论是在企业创立和专业化经营阶段,还是在初步多元化经营阶段和建立某种程度的核心能力阶段,企业均需完成与核心能力有关的相应任务,唯有如此,才能保证企业多元化经营不偏离核心能力的范围,进而保障多元化经营的成功。 基于核心能力的多元化战略,是企业多元化经营战略的一种重要的指导思想,在决策过程中,企业需要遵循一定的模式,最主要的是分析企业的能力和战略资源,以及有效的管理能力。另外,企业的多元化经营对企业的核心能力也具有一定的作用,企业应当注意实现多元化与核心能力之间的良性互动。  
英文摘要:Corporate development through diversification has always been a topic of controversy in the theoretical and corporate circles. However, it should be noted that there are no hard and fast rules regarding diversification versus specialization. Diversification and specialization are only different forms of corporate existence. The key lies in whether the corporation possesses the required core competence. Diversification comes from investment portfolio theories, and adoption of the diversification strategy is invariably the result of the strategic transformation on the part of the corporation at a certain stage of development. It constitutes the source and basis for the corporation to maintain its competitive edge, and is deeply rooted within the corporate organization. It is characterized by such features as value-superiority, emulation-proof, inseparability, and effect flow-over, dynamic development etc. Diversification is an idea and model of corporation development. Fostering core competence does not mean corporation only concentrate on operation of a special industry. Based on analysis of the relation between core competence and diversification strategy, the author find that the relation is very close. Diversification is based on foster and improvement of core competence, and core competence also extends advantage through diversification. The corporation is an integration of competence, and core competence is sourced from general capabilities of the corporation but rises above them at the same time. It requires constant identification, nurturing, managing and expansion, and must be valuated and improved upon. To judge and improve core competence is also very important for the corporation. After compared the three theories of Core Competence Based Diversification Strategy, RBV Based Diversification Strategy, Value Chain Based Diversification Strategy, the author analyzed the first theory as the emphases. And pointed out: the ranges and risks of the corporation are decided by the core competence. If the corporation didn’t pay attention to training and enhancing the corporation’s core competence, the managers will come into contract with three kinds of diversification mistakes. After analyzed the corporation development cycle based on the core competence, the author advanced: not only in the creation and specialization phase, but also in the moment of junior diversification and creating core competence, the corporation must finish a series of tasks. If not, the corporation can’t ensure that the diversification is based on the core competence or not. The diversification strategy theory based on core competence is a very important guiding idea. In the process of decision-making, the corporation must follow a certain mode. And the most vital factors in this mode are the competence of corporation, the strategic resources, and the effective management. On the other side, the diversification strategy can also affect the corporation’s core competence, and so, the managers must know how to harmonize these two concepts.
