| 英文摘要: | With the development of digital media and platform environments, podcasts have gradually become an important form of digital audio media through which users acquire information, understand experiences, and form opinions. Users increasingly engage in commenting, sharing, discussing, and participating in content-related activities around podcast content, thereby expanding the scale of information expression, information dissemination, and content generation. Existing studies have mainly focused on users’ motivations for podcast use and listening experiences, while users’ information expression and content contribution after content exposure remain insufficiently examined. Based on this, this study adopts the perspective of value co-creation to explore the forms, influencing factors, and mechanisms of contributory participation behavior among Chinese podcast users. This study adopts a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative exploration and quantitative validation. In the qualitative stage, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 16 users who had rich podcast use experience. Grounded theory was used to code and analyze the interview data, identify the main levels and influencing factors of contributory participation behavior, and form a preliminary analytical framework. On this basis, an influencing factor model was constructed by integrating customer-dominant logic, self-efficacy theory, and social support theory, and research hypotheses were proposed. In the quantitative stage, a questionnaire survey was designed and conducted accordingly. A total of 259 valid responses were obtained. SPSS 27 and the PROCESS macro were used to conduct reliability and validity tests, regression analysis, mediation effect tests, and moderation effect tests to validate the model. The findings show that the contributory participation behavior of Chinese podcast users can be divided into four levels: individual expression, interactive feedback, resource sharing and recommendation, and participation in podcast recording. These levels reflect differences in the visibility of expression, the strength of interactive relationships, the ways of information organization, and the depth of content involvement. In terms of mechanisms, motivation and platform interaction support have significant positive effects on contributory participation behavior and also exert indirect effects through self-efficacy. Self-efficacy plays a mediating role in the process through which users’ information understanding is transformed into visible participation. Perceived barriers have a significant negative effect on self-efficacy, while their direct effect on contributory participation behavior and their moderating effect are not significant. This study systematically analyzes the forms, influencing factors, and mechanisms of contributory participation behavior among Chinese podcast users. The findings suggest that users’ related behaviors have extended from content consumption to information expression, information organization, and content participation. This study expands the application of information use and information creation research in digital audio contexts to a certain extent, and provides empirical evidence for understanding the logic of user participation in the Chinese podcast ecosystem. | |
