| 英文摘要: | Against the backdrop of profound restructuring of global industrial and supply chains and the continuous accumulation of uncertainty risks, supply chain resilience has become a critical factor affecting enterprise survival and national economic security. Total factor productivity (TFP), as a comprehensive indicator reflecting resource allocation efficiency and technological capability, serves as the core representation of high-quality development of micro-enterprises in the efficiency dimension. Cost stickiness reflects the efficiency and flexibility of enterprises in adjusting resource allocation when facing market fluctuations. However, existing research predominantly explores the determinants of TFP from perspectives such as corporate governance, technological innovation, and industrial policy, while systematic research from the supply chain perspective remains relatively scarce. Moreover, literature integrating supply chain resilience, cost stickiness, and TFP into a unified analytical framework is even rarer. Therefore, can the construction of supply chain resilience enhance enterprise TFP by optimizing cost management efficiency? Does cost stickiness play a mediating role in this relationship? These are important questions worthy of investigation. Using Chinese A-share listed companies from 2013 to 2024 as the research sample, this study examines the direct impact of supply chain resilience on TFP and employs a mediation effect model to analyze the transmission mechanism of cost stickiness. A series of robustness tests and endogeneity treatments are conducted, including excluding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, adding interactive fixed effects, employing cluster-robust standard errors, replacing variables, and applying instrumental variable approaches. Additionally, the study investigates the heterogeneity across ownership structures and regional distributions. The empirical results reveal that supply chain resilience has a significant positive impact on TFP; firms with stronger supply chain resilience exhibit higher TFP levels, a finding that remains robust after various robustness tests. Cost stickiness plays a partial mediating role in the process through which supply chain resilience affects TFP; improvements in supply chain resilience reduce enterprise cost stickiness, thereby enhancing TFP. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that the promoting effect of supply chain resilience on TFP is significant in non-state-owned enterprises but not in state-owned enterprises, and is most pronounced in the eastern region while not yet significant in the central region. The theoretical contributions of this study are primarily reflected in the following aspects. First, in terms of research perspective, it integrates supply chain resilience, cost stickiness, and TFP into a unified analytical framework, extending the research boundary of the economic consequences of supply chain resilience while providing a new supply chain management perspective for explaining TFP. Second, in terms of mechanism, it reveals the mediating role of cost stickiness in the relationship between supply chain resilience and TFP, deepening the understanding of the intrinsic mechanism through which supply chain resilience affects enterprise efficiency. Third, in terms of heterogeneity analysis, it identifies the key boundary conditions for the effectiveness of supply chain resilience based on heterogeneity in ownership structure and regional distribution, providing decision-making references for governments to formulate differentiated supply chain governance policies and for enterprises to implement targeted cost management strategies. | |
