| 中文摘要: | With the acceleration of the global population aging process, the demand for medical devices is growing, and it has become a key part of the global big health industry. The global medical device market reached $595.2 billion in 2023 and is expected to grow to $743.2 billion in 2027. As an important participant in the global medical device market, China has developed rapidly under the promotion of government policies, accounting for about 27% of the global market size. However, the research and development process of medical devices is complex and long cycle, especially the schedule management and resource allocation challenges in the clinical trial stage are significant, which become the key factors affecting the research and development efficiency and market competitiveness. With the global promotion of the bone conduction hearing implantation system, Company C has conducted a clinical trial of the bone conduction system in China to obtain clinical data from the Chinese population and ensure the safety and efficacy of the product in China. However, in the process of project schedule management, Company C was faced with many challenges, such as the delay in subject recruitment, insufficient resource allocation, and poor team communication, which led to the lag of the project schedule and affected the overall experimental effect. In view of these problems, this study combines IPD (integrated product development) theory to make in-depth analysis and improvement from four aspects: process optimization, resource allocation, communication and coordination, and risk management. By introducing the IPD method, reconstructing the project process, optimizing the resource allocation, improving the team collaboration efficiency, and enhancing the risk prediction and management capabilities, Company C has gradually solved the problem of project schedule lag in the clinical trial projects. Through the system optimization measures, help improve the schedule management of the bone conduction project of the C company, aiming to help the project advance smoothly in the subsequent stage. This study provides practical experience and theoretical support for the management of medical device clinical trial projects, and proves the effective application of IPD theory in complex projects.
