中文摘要: | 经营环境的动态性本身以及动态性对企业战略和组织的影响,是战略理论与组织理论关切的核心议题之一,也是企业实际运作过程中的关键挑战。在企业面对的诸如2008年的全球性经济危机,以及过去数十年来多次发生的技术飞跃性变革,企业组织因应动态环境变化的动态能力的研究,更加具有理论价值和时代意义。 本研究是在21世纪以来,出现经营环境巨幅变动,造成产业和企业的兴衰更替;战略理论分歧发展,显示现行战略和组织理论的局限性;以及战略缺乏组织支撑,导致战略规划的效果不如预期等背景下展开研究工作的。所以研究目标包括:第一,理清在动态环境中,企业应该着重利用与开发那种经营范式和活动,以及如何在现在与未来两种时间导向上取舍的理论思维逻辑。第二,理清环境动态性、动态能力、以及组织支撑体系之间的关系,并建构动态能力组织支撑体系的理论模型。第三,理清学习机制与外界环境和动态能力的关系,以及学习机制在组织支撑体系中的作用角色。第四,验证战略决策能力、组织创新能力和购并整合能力在组织支撑体系中的作用机理与关键要素。第五,验证在不同环境动态性下,动态能力组织支撑体系的特征差异。 本研究采取的研究方法,包括整合型文献研究方法、多重案例的质性案例研究方法和比较研究方法。其中,案例的选择与案例研究的资料收集方法,在研究中有清楚的说明。至于选择战略决策能力、组织创新能力和购并整合能力做为本研究探讨解析的管理议题的原因,也在文中有清楚的交代。最后本研究总共获得七个结论,包括:第一,证实兼顾与平衡利用与开发、现在与未来的重要性。第二,理清学习机制与外界环境和动态能力的关系,以及学习机制在组织支撑体系中的作用角色。第三,创新提出并论证一个涵盖企业关键经营活动的动态能力组织支撑体系模型。第四,验证战略决策能力在组织支撑体系中的作用机理与关键要素。第五,验证组织创新能力在组织支撑体系中的作用机理与关键要素。第六,验证购并整合能力在组织支撑体系中的作用机理与关键要素。第七,成功验证在不同环境动态性下,动态能力组织支撑体系的特征差异。 理论研究的创新点是学位论文的关键之一,本研究的包括:第一,系统性且深入研究动态能力组织支撑体系的结构、特征与内涵,并且率先提出并论证涵盖企业关键经营活动的动态能力组织支撑体系模型。第二,理清学习机制与外界环境和动态能力的关系,以及学习机制在组织支撑体系中的作用角色。第三,在了解动态能力组织支撑体系的特性基础上,从组织的观点系统性地研究动态能力的工具维度与作用对象,并且验证不同环境动态性下,动态能力组织支撑体系中的特征差异。第四,成功验证了战略决策能力、组织创新能力和购并整合能力在组织支撑体系中的作用机理与关键要素。 由于研究时间与数据的限制,仍然有不足之处,包括:第一,对于动态能力与组织理论等相关理论的梳理和回顾,由于资料繁多所以可能缺乏全面的视角。因此对于建构的动态能力组织支撑体系的考虑层面,难免有所疏漏。第二,由于研究资源与时间的限制,很难对于组织作用机理的所有内容作出详细、完善的分析。因此,本研究的着重点只限于分析在一般理论架构、战略决策、组织创新、与购并整合等重要管理层面上的作用机理。 最后,作者对于后续的研究建议则有:第一,完善动态能力组织支撑体系概念的操作化研究。组织支撑体系与作用机理概念的操作化研究,是要解决动态能力与组织运作发展的可衡量性和可操作性等问题。这需要探索一套简便、准确的方法,不仅能够比较不同企业之间动态能力的差异,也能够比较同一企业在不同时期动态能力的差异,以便于更深入研究造成这些差异的原因。第二,进行动态能力、组织支撑体系与企业绩效的实证研究。Zott(2003)以计算机模拟研究,认为同一产业的企业绩效的差异,是因为动态能力的三个属性,即配置资源的时机,配置资源的成本和配置资源的学习。企业之间在动态能力这三个属性方面的差异,引起企业之间的绩效差异,但这种差异没有长期性。这是一个颇具有启发意义与操作价值的研究范式。未来的实证研究可以参考此研究范式,针对动态能力组织支撑体系与企业绩效和战略弹性之间的关系进行实证研究或仿真分析。 | |
英文摘要: | Dynamic of business environment and the influence it has to enterprise strategy and organization is one of the core issues of strategic theory and organization theory, and also it is the key challenge in the real-world business operation. This reasearch is based on the following facts happening in 21 century: rise -and-fall and replacement of industries and business due to huge change in business environment; discrepancy in the development of strategic theories, revealing the limitation of current stategy and organization theory; failure of the effect of strategic planning caused by lack of support from organization. The research objectives are as follow: First, to clarify the logic which enterprises follow in choosing what to develop and in give-and-take between the current and future in a dynamic environment. Second, to clarify the relation among dynamic of environment, dynamic capability and organization support system and to build a theory model of dynamic capability supported by organization system. Third, to clarify the relation among learning mechanism, the environment and dynamic capability, and the role of learning mechanism in the organization support system. Fourth, to verify the rationale and key factors of strategic decision-making capability, organization innovation capability and merger integration capability in organization support system. Finally, to verify the varieties of dynamic capability supported by organization system in different environmental dynamics. The approaches employed in this research include document-integrating approach, multiple-case qualitative study approach and comparative research approach. Case-choosing and data-collecting of case studies as well as the reasons for choosing strategic decision-making capability, organizational innovation capability and merger integrating capability as the main topics will be elaborated in the context. In the end, seven conclusions are reached. 1. Varification of the importance of balancing exploitation and exploration as well as the current and the future. 2. Clarification of the relation among learning mechanism, the environment and dynamic capability, and the role of learning mechanism in the organization system. 3. Innovative proposition of dynamic capability supported by organization system model containing key business operation functions. 4. Verification of the rationale and key factors of strategic decision-making capability in organization support system. 5. Verification of the rationale and key factors of organization innovation capability in organization support system. 6. Verification of the rationale and key factors of merger integration capability in organization support system. 7. Verification the characteristic defferences of dynamic capability supported by organization system in different environmental dynamics. Concluding innovative theory viewpoint is one of the key elements in a dissertaion. In this research, there are: 1. To investigate the construction, characteristics and content of dynamic capability supported by organization support system systematically and in depth and to bring out and verify its model which contains business operation. 2. Clarification of the relation among learning mechanism, the environment and dynamic capability, and the role of learning mechanism in the organization support system. 3. To systematically investigate the dimension and objects of emplaying dynamic capacity from a organization point of view on the basis of realizing the characteristics of dynamic capability supported by organization support system and to verify the feature differences of a dynamic capability supported by organization support system in varied dynamic environments. 4. Varification of the rationale and key factors of strategic decision-making capability, organization innovation capability and post-merger integration capability in organization support system. Deficiencies due to limitation of time and data are: 1. Lack of overall and systematic review of related theories of dynamic capacity and organization. Consequently, overlook of the theories of dynamic capabilities and organization support system may be inevitable. 2. Due to limitation of time and data, analysing the rationale of organization operation thoroughly is out of the question. As a result, this research focuses on analysing crucial rationales in management like general theoretical framework, stategic decision-making, organization innovation, and merger integration. Suggestions of succeeding research are: 1. Further research of the detailed theory as to dynamic capability supported by organization system. The detailed theoretical research of organization support system and operation rationale is to solve the problem of measurability and application of dynamic capabilities and organization operation and development. Achieving this goal requires a simple and accurate method which can compare the differences not only among enterprises but also the different eras of one enterprise. 2. Emperical study of dynamic capacity, organization support system and enterprise performance. Using computer simulation model, Zott (2003) believes that diversity within a business is due to three properties of dynamic capacity: timing, cost and learing of resource attribution. The diversity among enterpriseshe is caused by the three properties, but it is not a long-term situation. This inspiring and operationally-valued research model can be a reference for future empirical studies to furthur investigate the relation among dynamic capability supported by organization system, enterprise performance and strategic flexibility. | |
