中文摘要：	自古以来，编史修志都是我国一项十分重要的工作，盛世修史，明时修志是中国史学的优良传统。图书馆史志以记录成就、总结经验为特征。进入21世纪以来，随着党和政府对公共文化服务体系的重视和投入的持续增加，我国图书馆事业获得了巨大发展。图书馆编史修志工作不断取得进展，新编写的图书馆史和图书馆志数量不断增加。这些图书馆史志有着以下特征：馆史侧重纵向以时为线、馆志侧重横向分门别类；重视全面性和系统性；内容上重视数字资源和信息技术建设。其中也存在许多问题，如部分图书馆史体裁史志不分、图书馆志纵向内容的篇幅较小、图书馆志章节划分较为琐碎、部分作品未出版等。 图书馆史志的编修应遵循真实性、专业性、合理性、特色性、继承创新和以人为本的原则。图书馆史志的编修应当认识到团队、外部专家支持、体例、大事记、档案资料、访谈资料、收集媒体报道、结合现有理论研究成果、总结已编成史志的经验和图片等方面的重要性。 对于接下来的图书馆史志编修：（1）有条件的图书馆应当一步到位编写图书馆史；（2） 史志应结合；（3）应加强相关人才的培养；（4）应当注重发挥图书馆史志的作用；（5）合理开展续编工作。
英文摘要：	Since ancient times, compiling history and compiling chronicles has been a very important work in China. Compiling history in prosperous times is a fine tradition of Chinese historiography. Library history and library chronicles are characterized by recording achievements and summarizing experiences. Since entering the 21st century, with the continuous increase of the attention and investment of the party and government to the public cultural service system, China's library cause has achieved great development. The work of compiling history and chronicles in the library has been constantly introducing new works, and the number of newly compiled library history and chronicles has been increasing. These library chronicles have the following characteristics: the library history focuses on the vertical time line, the library chronicles focus on the horizontal classification, and the content focuses on the construction of digital resources and information technology. There are also many problems, such as some types of library history are not divided into historical records, the length of the vertical content of library records is small, the division of chapters of library records is relatively trivial, and some works are not published. The compilation of historical records of a library shall be carried out in accordance with the process of establishing a compilation team, demonstrating, collecting data, compiling, proofreading, reviewing, publishing, summarizing, evaluating and renewing. The content of library history should be divided into stages according to the actual situation of the library and the historical stages. The contents of the Library Journal shall include such special topics as institutional personnel, facility funds, management rules, library collection resource construction, information technology construction, reader service, academic societies, etc. For the following compilation of library historical records: (1) conditional libraries should prepare library history in one step; (2) Historical records should be combined with (3) the training of relevant talents should be strengthened; (4) the role of library historical records should be emphasized.
