中文摘要:我国炭黑材料产业经过近三十年的发展和壮大,随着市场需求的变化和国际贸易形式的转变,逐步向产业演变的成熟阶段转换,国内需求饱和且国外出口受阻,逐渐呈现供过于求的局势,在华投资和国内炭黑材料企业对此需要主动出击积极应对。从国内外成功与失败的企业案例中可以看到,企业要想实现长期的发展战略目标,必须要构建持续的有效的竞争优势。近些年来许多管理学家和企业的管理者,很注重对企业竞争优势建立和保持的问题进行探索和研究,而且企业生存并持续发展问题的核心和根本,就是研究企业竞争优势的问题。企业的竞争优势长期以来一直是战略管理领域中研究的核心问题,同时也是战略管理中的一个极为复杂的问题。 本文对炭黑材料在全球和中国的产业特点、发展现状及市场前景进行了分析;从构建竞争优势的视角,运用波特的五种竞争力分析方法,进行炭黑材料产业结构的分析,从长期盈利能力和决定长期盈利能力的因素来认识各产业所具有的吸引力。本文以卡博特公司为借鉴,在目前中国甚至全球环境大变革的情况之下,在中国的炭黑业务正在遭受和将要遇到什么样的产业问题,讨论影响和决定产业固有的长期盈利能力的因素,同时运用价值链理论,研究在选定的产业中决定炭黑产业内相对竞争地位的因素,以及炭黑材料企业如何建立自身竞争优势,由此构建炭黑材料企业不同业务领域低成本和差异化竞争战略形成的模型。 本文着重通过对卡博特特种炭黑企业差异化战略的实施进行理论分析和实践研究,揭示卡博特在价值链上各环节实施差异化和价值链之间的关联增强差异化,指出卡博特在竞争优势创造过程中的得失,详细分析了差异化实施过程中风险和误区考虑,并如何进行成本控制,以扩展和保持差异化竞争优势。针对高性能材料业务,本文详细阐述了在卡博特全球战略条件下,在华投资企业的差异化竞争战略的形成过程和设计原则,以及差异化实施具体措施。  
英文摘要:Carbon Black material industry in China is gradually transferring to matured phase of industry evolution, after 30 years development and buildup, along with changes on market demand and conversion of international trade model. While domestic demand is satiated and export is suppressed, foreign invested and domestic carbon black enterprises are urged to take the initiative to act on the offensive to current situation. Enterprise learns lessons from success and failure of business cases in domestic or overseas that persistent and effective competitive advantages need to be built up to accomplish its long-term strategic objectives. Recently lots of researches and studies are made on built-up and sustainment of enterprise competitive advantage by many scholars and managers, which is also the matter of the core and base to make it survive and continuously develop. Competitive advantage of enterprise is critical and also the most complicated issues in researches of strategic management scope for a long term. This thesis makes a systemic analysis on CB industry characteristic, current status and market foreground. From the angle of competitive advantage establishment, it researches the external and internal environment of carbon black enterprise, applying Porter’s Five Forces analysis method and Value Chain theory. It discusses what problem carbon black industry has and will have in such environment revolution in China or global further, particularly in identifying factors that affect and determine inherent long term profitability among industry, and in identifying factors that determine relative competitive position within industry, therefore to build up the model of forming low cost and differentiation strategy in diversified businesses. A thorough study is made on the implementation of differentiation strategy in Cabot Performance Business, demonstrating how Cabot executes differentiation in sectors of value chain and how Cabot enhances differentiation through association between chains. With the reference to Cabot, the article approaches the lessons learnt while creating competitive advantages, as well as risks and mistakes while implementing differentiation, cost control while not affecting strategy, measures, all of which expend and retain the competitive advantages.
