中文摘要: | 移动学习作为移动技术与教育及学习活动相结合的产物,已经成为一种普遍的学习方式。在日常生活中,智能手机和平板电脑是当前最常用的移动学习设备,而使用各种移动学习APP进行学习,则是最主要的移动学习形式(本文中使用“移动学习APP”作为“移动学习平台”的同义词)。然而,当前各大移动应用市场中充斥着大量移动学习APP,但这些产品的设计问题却并未得到足够的重视,尤其缺乏针对具体交互设计要素的研究。此外,移动学习APP作为一种学习类交互系统,在开发和设计上不仅要满足学习需求,还应注重学习者与系统的交互过程及结果,而当前研究对移动学习中人机交互问题的关注却十分有限。因此,本研究基于人机交互视角,探究不同交互设计类型移动学习平台对用户学习过程及结果的影响,进而揭示不同形式具体交互设计要素的作用。 本研究的主要工作包括:第一,以图书情报领域中的交互行为及系统评价思想为基础,结合人机交互及教育相关理论和研究成果,本研究构建了移动学习人机交互模型,通过交互过程和交互结果反映用户的学习情况;第二,本研究通过对我国权威APP排行榜的调查,选取12款我国大学生常用的移动英语词汇学习APP为研究对象,采用内容分析法对所选系统中背单词功能的交互设计进行分析,总结其在学习模式、流程机制、内容及功能方面的共性与差异;第三,基于内容分析结果,以百词斩、一点英语、墨墨背单词和不背单词四款产品为案例开展实验研究,通过两次对比实验揭示不同交互设计类型移动学习平台对用户学习的影响,探究不同交互设计情境下用户与系统的交互过程及结果;第四,采用T检验、相关分析、回归分析等统计方法对实验收集到的数据进行分析,在研究移动学习人机交互过程的同时,进一步探讨系统交互设计要素的作用。 本研究发现:(1)当前移动英语学习平台在学习形式、流程机制、内容及功能方面的设计细节均会对用户学习产生影响;(2)不同交互设计类型的移动学习平台会带给用户不同的交互过程和结果,尤其在用户交互行为上体现出显著的差异;(3)在不同交互设计情境下,移动学习人机交互模型中变量之间的关系呈现明显差异,但也存在一定共性,如:用户交互行为与学习效果之间存在显著相关关系;用户体验对内在学习动机具有预测作用。 本研究结果表明,移动学习平台等交互式系统的开发和设计应更加注重细节设计,在系统评估研究中也应更多的关注对具体设计要素的评价。本研究所构建的移动学习人机交互模型为研究人员提供了移动学习分析的思路和框架,同时揭示了用户交互行为分析在移动学习研究中的重要价值。 | |
英文摘要: | Mobile Learning is a prevalent way of learning, which is facilitated by the combination of mobile communication technology and learning activities. Nowdays, smart phones and tablets are the most commonly used mobile learning devices. Using mobile learning APPs is the most important way of mobile learning ("mobile learning APP" is used as a synonym for "mobile learning platform" in this study). In mobile APP markets, there are various moblie learing APPs avaliable for users. While most of these APPs have defects in the interaction design,which need more studies on them,especially on the specific interaction design elements. In addition, as a kind of interactive system for learning, mobile learning APPs not only have to fulfill user learning needs, but also support the efficient human-computer interactive process and results during mobile learning activities. However, the HCI issues in mobile learning are also not received enough attention. Base on the HCI viewpoint, this study attempts to explore the impact of different interaction design types of mobile learning platforms on user learning process and results, and then reveal the role of different forms of specific interaction design elements in mobile learning. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, four parts of work were done in this study. In the first place, based on the interactive behavior and system evaluation ideas in the field of library and information science, combined with the relevant theories and studies in HCI and education, a Mobile Learning Human-Computer Interaction Model(MLHCI Model) was constructed to be the theoratical framework of this research. In this model, interactive process and interactive results were used to characterize user learning. Secondly, based on the survey of authoritative APP Rankings in China, this study selected 12 mobile English vocabulary learning APPs which are commonly used by Chinese college students to be the research objects. A content analysis was conducted to examine the interaction design of word retention function in these 12 APPs. The features of interaction design were analysized in three aspects:learning mode design、learning process design and contnet & function design. Thirdly, on the basis of the content analysis results, four APPs (“Baicizhan”、“Yidian English”、“Momo Words”、“Bubei Words”) were selected to be cases for further emperical study. Two camparative experiments were conducted to detect the impact of different interaction design types of mobile learning platforms on user learning. In the end, in order to answer the research questions, the statistical methods such as T-test、correlation and regression were used to analyze the experimental data. The results of this study were summarized as followed. (1) Exercises and cards were the two main ways of word retention practice in mobile English vocabulary learning APPs. (2) The detials of learning mode design、learning process design and contnet & function design in mobile learing platforms were the important factors that impacted user mobile learning. (3) Mobile learning platforms of different interaction design types caused different interactive process and results during mobile learning activities, the significant differences especially embodied on the user interactive behaviors. And in the contexts of different interaction design, the relationship between variables in the MLHCI Model were obviously different, although there still some common relationships were found in these contexts. For exsample, there was a significant correlation between interactive behavior and learning outcome, and user experience has a predictive effect on intrinsic learning motivation. This study indacates that on the development and design of interactve systems, such as mobile learning platforms, more details should be taken into consideration. And researchers should pay more attention on the evaluation of specific interaction design exlements of systems. Moreover, The MlHCI Model in this study provides theoratical framework and ideas for other mobile learning studies. In the meantime, the results also illustrates that the analysis of interactive behavior is a valuable approach in the filed of mobile learning. | |
