中文摘要:随着中国经济发展和营商环境的不断改善,中华老字号企业也期望在变局中寻求新的发展机遇。但迄今为止,只有一成左右的中华老字号呈现出较好的发展态势。所以,老字号企业亟需加快改革创新步伐,提升企业竞争力。本文首先基于企业成长理论根据内外部因素选取中华老字号高企业绩效的前因条件并建立研究的理论框架,以56家中华老字号上市企业为例运用fsQCA方法进行中小样本研究,在实证结果和具体案例分析基础上,探索老字号企业如何挖掘发展自身文化历史、政治等特殊价值和能力,政府该如何主动作为,简政放权,营造适合老字号企业发展的营商环境,从而在多因素共同作用下提升中华老字号企业的绩效。 实证结果表明,fsQCA 有效地识别了帮助中华老字号企业取得高绩效的三条路径,表明中华老字号企业中高企业绩效的殊途同归与多重并发。根据实证结果本文主要得出以下结论:1)在外部条件比如区域文化影响和政治网络比较缺乏的情况下,中华老字号企业可以扩大规模和建立成熟的企业内部知识共享机制而提高老字号企业绩效。2)中华老字号企业可以建立企业内部知识共享机制和构建丰富的政治网络,来弥补由所在区域文化影响不强和当地政府政策支持不足的局限性,从而提高老字号企业绩效。3)中华老字号企业可以通过动态化选择适宜的企业规模以及较强的所在区域文化影响,来减轻由内部知识共享程度不高、政治网络匮乏和当地政府政策支持不足所带来的局限性,从而提高老字号企业绩效。4)企业规模和政治网络之间存在明显替代关系,当地政策作用不显。 依据研究结论,大型中华老字号企业应当保持适度的政治网络,将重心放在挖掘企业历史文化元素、做好内部传承、增强品牌效应等方面,并肩负起传承保护和文化输出的重任。同时政府应简政放权,“做好该做的事”,比如健全知识产权和法律制度,优化老字号企业营商环境及指定扶持政策等,而非过度去干预企业经营决策。 
英文摘要:With the continuous improvement of China's economic development and business environment, China's time-honored enterprises also expect to seek new development opportunities in the changing situation. But so far, only about 10% of the Chinese time-honored brands show a better development trend. Therefore, time-honored enterprises are in urgent need of accelerating the pace of reform and innovation to enhance their competitiveness. This paper based on the theory of firm growth, according to internal and external factors to select finalists before high performance because of conditions and establish the research theory frame, 56 old home China listed companies, for example using fsQCA method for small sample study, based on the empirical results and analysis of specific cases, explore the old enterprise how to develop their own political and other special cultural and historical value and ability, how can the government as actively, and decentralization, build suitable for old business environment, the development of the enterprise which result in more common ascension finalists enterprises under the action of performance. The empirical results show that fsQCA effectively identifies three ways to help Chinese time-honored enterprises to achieve high performance, indicating that the high performance of Chinese time-honored enterprises leads to the same path and multiple concurrency. Based on the empirical results, this paper mainly draws the following conclusions: 1) in the absence of external conditions such as regional cultural influence and political network, time-honored enterprises in China can expand their scale and establish a mature internal knowledge sharing mechanism to improve their performance. 2) Chinese time-honored enterprises can establish an internal knowledge sharing mechanism and a rich political network to make up for the limitations of weak regional cultural influence and insufficient policy support from the local government, so as to improve the performance of time-honored enterprises. 3) Time-honored enterprises in China can improve their performance by dynamically selecting appropriate enterprise scale and strong regional cultural influence to reduce the limitations caused by low degree of internal knowledge sharing, lack of political network and insufficient policy support from local government. 4) There is an obvious substitution relationship between enterprise size and political network while the role of local policies is not obvious. According to the research conclusion, large Chinese time-honored enterprises should keep a moderate political network, focus on the excavation of enterprise historical and cultural elements, do a good job of internal inheritance, enhance brand effect and other aspects, shoulder the responsibility of inheritance protection and cultural output. At the same time, the government should streamline administration and delegate power to "do the right thing", such as improving the intellectual property rights and legal system, optimizing the business environment of time-established enterprises and specifying supportive policies, rather than excessively interfering in the business decisions of enterprises.
