中文摘要:由于市场环境的快速变化,企业的技术创新需要加快进程,所以开始建立战略联盟,将研发的外部资源化为己用,将研发的成本和风险同其他企业分担,从而能够实现共同的投资、研发、生产、销售,达到产业中的规模经济。随着战略联盟的市场活动在企业的研发创新中日益发挥功效,学术界关于战略联盟的理论研究也在逐渐深入。继竞争战略与合作战略以后,战略管理领域的前沿课题中逐渐浮现出“竞合”的概念。 竞合(coopetition)是指两家企业在某些领域中合作,但同时也在另外一些业务中进行竞争。竞合一方面能够将重要的资源、信息、渠道等提供给企业,从而促进产品研发和技术创新,但是另一方面也会催生机会主义行为,甚至有可能导致战略联盟崩解,从而不利于增加创新的产出成果。学术界对于竞合之于创新的作用也已经取得一些成果,但还没有得出统一的结论,这意味着该课题依然是未来有待研究的一个主要方向。 本文从实证方面研究了竞合领域中的一个重要问题:竞合会在多大程度上影响企业的创新绩效?在研究中,本文着眼于焦点企业与联盟伙伴的竞争强度和合作强度,并且主张,与联盟伙伴的适度竞争或合作比非常高或非常低的竞争或合作更为有利。本文还应用了竞合的“平衡”概念来研究竞争与合作之间的相互作用以及两者之间的平衡如何影响创新绩效。本文使用中国高科技行业的数据进行实证研究,结果表明,竞争与合作的强度与企业基于竞合的创新绩效具有非线性的正向关系,平衡强竞合(即竞争程度和合作程度适度地高时)对创新绩效具有积极影响。本文的关键贡献在于将竞合的各个强度概念化并用实证证明,如竞争为主、合作为主和平衡的竞合对创新绩效的影响。 
英文摘要:Due to the rapid changes in the market environment and the need for companies to accelerate technological innovation, some companies began to establish strategic alliances to turn R & D external resources into their own use and share the costs and risks of R & D with other companies. With the alliance, they can achieve investment, production and marketing activities together, thus forming economies of scale in the industry. As the market activities of strategic alliances play an increasingly important role in the R & D and innovation of companies, the academic research on strategic alliances is gradually deepening. Following the competition strategy and cooperation strategy, the concept of "coopetition" has gradually emerged in the hot topics of strategic management. Coopetition refers to a kind of strategy that two companies cooperate in certain fields, but compete in other businesses at the same time. On the one hand, competition and cooperation can provide important resources, information and channels to the company, thereby promoting product development and technological innovation. On the other hand, it will also promote opportunistic behavior, and may even lead to the collapse of a strategic alliance, which is not conducive to increase innovative output. The academic field has also achieved some results about the role of competition and cooperation on innovation, but has not reached a unified conclusion yet, which means that the subject is still a major direction to be studied in the future. This paper studies an important issue in the field of coopetition from an empirical perspective: To what extent does coopetition affect the innovation performance of companies? This research focus on the intensity of competition and the intensity of cooperation between the focus companies and alliance partners, and advocates that moderate competition or cooperation with alliance partners is more advantageous than very high or very low competition or cooperation. This paper also applies the concept of "balance" of coopetition to study the interaction between competition and cooperation and how the balance affects innovation performance. This paper uses data from the Chinese high-tech industry to conduct empirical research. The results show that the intensity of competition (or cooperation) has a non-monotonic positive relationship with the innovation performance of enterprises based on competition and cooperation. In addition, balancing strong coopetition (that is, when the degree of competition and cooperation is moderately high) has a positive impact on innovation performance. The key contribution of this paper is to conceptualize and demonstrate with empirical evidence the intensity of competition and cooperation, such as competition-based, cooperation-based, and balanced competition-cooperation on innovation performance.
