| 中文摘要: | 农家书屋工程是由新闻出版总署于2007正式带头实施的全国性文化惠民工程。它以行政村为单位,旨在为每个行政村建立一个小型图书室,并通过为所有农村居民提供免费阅读资源的方式来满足农村居民的阅读需求,提升农村居民的文化素养。从农家书屋承担的社会功能来看,它可以被看作我国农村图书馆建设的最新表现形式,从图书馆情报学(LIS)的学科体系来看,它是LIS社区实践的重要组成部分。但当前,农家书屋工程的运行情况并不乐观,出版物更新慢、书屋无人管理和书屋利用率低等现象层出不穷,这些问题预示农家书屋存在再次陷入我国农村图书馆事业短效宿命的风险,这不仅严重阻碍着农家书屋工程本身的可持续发展,也直接关涉到我国新时期农村图书馆发展之路的探索能否成功的问题。因此,揭示导致这些问题产生的机制原因是深入理解这些问题的重要前提,也是实现农家书屋工程及农村图书馆事业长效发展的重要保障。活动理论将活动作为基本的分析单元,其丰富的概念框架和理论思想能够为实现本文的研究目标提供有效的理论支持和全面的分析视角。具体来说,本文旨在使用活动理论的概念框架和理论思想去揭示和分析农家书屋工程建设和发展的动力机制,并阐释这种动力机制对农家书屋工程产生的影响。 在研究方法上,本文采用了田野调查的方法,通过深度访谈和实地观察的方式来收集研究数据。在研究样本的选择上,本文先后走访了8座城市的13所农家书屋,这些城市基本上涵盖了我国东北、华北、东南和中西部地区。此外,本文将每座城市作为一个基本的分析单元,在每个分析单元中选择的访谈对象基本上涵盖了农家书屋工程的主要参与者。在数据分析方面,本文以活动理论的概念框架和矛盾的理论思想作为依据,通过编码,从原始访谈数据中抽象概念,并通过考察概念之间的矛盾关系来揭示农家书屋工程建设和发展的动力机制。本文研究结论显示,当前推动我国农家书屋工程建设和发展的动力机制主要有三种,它们分别是权力调节动力机制、利益维护动力机制和责任修正动力机制。其中权力调节动力机制表现为权威在农家书屋工程活动系统内调节作用的不一致性和双效性;利益维护动力机制表现为活动主体与各共同体对各自经济利益的维护;责任修正动力机制表现为共同体责任修正行为的难触发性。 本文的研究结论具有显著的理论意义和实践意义。在理论层面上,本文将活动理论应用到LIS社区实践的研究中,揭示了农家书屋工程建设和发展的动力机制,并分析了这些动力机制对农家书屋工程产生的影响,并证实了活动理论在这一领域被应用于动力机制研究的适用性和有效性。研究结果不仅丰富了我国LIS学科对我国农村图书馆事业的研究视角,也丰富了世界LIS学科有关社区实践的理论成果。在实践层面,本文基于自身的研究发现,对农家书屋工程及其他类似的农村信息服务项目的建设和运行模式进行了反思。 | |
| 英文摘要: | The China’s village library project is a national cultural project for the benefit of the rural residents, which was officially initiated by the Press and Publication Administration in 2007. It aims to build a small library for each administrative village, and through providing free reading resources for all rural residents to meet their reading needs as well as improve their cultural literacy. From the perspective of the social functions undertaken by the village library, it can be regarded as the latest form of expression of Rural Library Construction in China. From the perspective of the LIS’ system, it is also an important part of LIS community practice. However, at present, the operation of the village library project is not optimistic. There are many problems, such as the slow renewal of publications, the lack of management of the village library and the low utilization rate of the village library. These problems imply a risk that village libraries will fall into the short-run destiny of rural libraries in China again, which not only seriously hinders the sustainable development of rural library project itself, but also directly relates to the success of the exploration on the development of rural libraries in the new period of China.These problems not only seriously hinder the sustainable development of the village library project, but also directly affect the construction of China’s rural library and the efficiency of the grass-roots public cultural service system. Therefore, revealing the causes at the mechanism level of these problems is an important prerequisite to understand these problems, and also an important guarantee to realize the long-term development of the village library project. Activity theory sees activity as the basic analysis unit, and its rich conceptual framework and theoretical ideas can provide effective theoretical support and comprehensive analysis perspective for achieving the research purpose of this research Specifically, the purpose of this research is to use the conceptual framework and theoretical idea of activity theory to reveal and analyze the dynamic mechanism for the construction and development of the village library project, and explain the impact of this dynamic mechanism on the village library project. For research methods, this paper applies the method of field investigation, through in-depth interviews and observation to collect original data. In the selection of research samples, this paper has visited 13 village libraries in 7 cities, which basically cover northeast, north, Southeast and Midwest of China. In addition, this paper takes each city as a basic analysis unit, and the interviewees selected in each analysis unit basically cover the main participants of the village library project. In the aspect of data analysis, based on the conceptual framework of activity theory and its theoretical thought of contradiction, this research abstracts the concept from the original interview data by using the coding method, and reveals the dynamic mechanism for the construction and development of the village library project by examining the contradictions between these concepts. The conclusion of this paper shows that there are three kinds of dynamic mechanisms to promote the construction and development of village library project in China, which are power-adjustment mechanism, interest-maintenance mechanism and responsibility-correction mechanism. The attribute of power-adjustment mechanism is contradictory and double effect. The attribute of interest-maintenance mechanism is the confrontation between the subject and community in the aspect of interest. The attribute of responsibility-correction mechanism is manifested that the responsibility-driven action is hard to trigger. The conclusion of this research has significant practical and theoretical significance. On the practical level, it reveals the dynamic mechanism for the construction and development of the village library project, and analyzes the impact of this mechanism on the village library project. At the same time, based on the operation modes and results of these dynamic mechanisms, this paper also reflects on the construction and operation modes of China’s village library project and other rural information service projects with similar functions. On the theoretical level, this paper applies the activity theory to the study of LIS community practice, and confirms the applicability and effectiveness of the activity theory in this field. It can not only enrich the theoretical basis of LIS community research, but also help to fully tap the theoretical innovation potential based on various types of community practice, including village library project. | |
