Program Overview
The Master of Project Management (MPM) program is designed to prepare versatile and qualified individuals for responsible management in the construction and operation of major engineering projects. It adopts a multidisciplinary approach, which combines essential components of civil engineering design with the functional concepts of business management and behavioral science.
Nankai University is one of the earliest universities that introduced modern project management education. As early as 1999, Nankai University, together with the State Foreign Experts Bureau of China and the Project Management Institute of U.S., held the first press release on the modern project management education And the school started to recruit masters and doctors of modern project management. Also,
the first modern project management monograph, Modern Project Management was published by Professor Qi, Anbang. All of these laid a solid foundation for Nankai's MPM program, and Nankai also became a leader in project management research of China.
Program Features

Admission
Applicants to the Master of Project Management (MPM) program should normally have an undergraduate degree in engineering or architecture with 3-year work experience, but individuals with quantitatively based degrees and/or appropriate work experience will be given serious consideration, provided that certain basic engineering, science, and mathematics requirements are satisfied in addition to the stated requirements of the program.
Applicants have to pass the Graduate Candidate Test for Master of Engineering (GCT), test for Project Management and the interview.
Tuition
Tuition for the 2.5 year program is RMB55000 which covers the costs of books and supplies.
