Program Overview

Nankai University is one of the first universities to introduce and carry out the education of Master of Engineering Management (MEM) in China, and the first MEM students enrolled in September 2011. The Education of MEM mainly relies on the outstanding teaching team of Department of Management Science and Engineering and the strong resource sharing platform of Business School.

Learning Goals

Program Features

1.     The program, comprehensive and application-oriented, attaches importance to cultivating students’ analytical ability and ability of solving problems in a creative way. Flexible modules are set up to meet the demands of different industries. And special directions and curriculums can be tailored to the enterprises’ needs.

2.     Several factors provide favorable conditions for MEM program: the professional degree programs of Nankai Business School rank among the best in the nation, which ensures sound academic quality; special labs of Management Simulation, Electronic Commerce and Enterprise Resource Planning offer a strong support system; and from a broader perspective, the booming of Binhai New Area in Tianjin gives students more opportunities to participate in field visits and exchanges and to find ideal jobs;

3.     To meet the demand of social development and talent market, the MEM Center has introduced several professional directions, such as logistics and supply chain management, information technology and e-commerce, as well as project management. In addition,  A dual-advisor system is set up to better enable students to combine theories with practice.
