Nankai EXED First overseas study program on Industry 4.0 successfully launched

Led by Mr. LV Feng, director of EXED (Executive Education center of Business School, Nankai University) and Mr. Cheng Cheng, deputy director of EXED, First Nankai EXED overseas study program including 20 students was launched in Germany from Nov. 16th till 27th, focused on study of Industry 4.0 and innovation.

This is first EXED overseas program, which is one type of EXED open courses. The students took part in courses, lectures and forums held in Darmstadt University of Technology, Fraunhofer Institutes, National professional education center, Robert Bosch, KUKA AG, Benjamin GmbH Fluid Logistics, Fraport AG, Deutsche Borse, and Munich Consulate etc. The study provided students with a close experience of German corporations operations, manufacturing industries and cultures, in-depth understanding of Industry 4.0 and innovation, what’s more, a broaden international horizons aimed to improve business management and strengthen National industries. 

A Closing ceremony was then held on Dec. 2nd in Business School, 20 students were awarded with course-completion certificate, and alumnus Mr. Zhang Fang, was appointed as special counselor of EXED overseas study program for his dedication to the program of the School. The students also had seminars with professors to summarize the study.
