Nankai Business School earned AACSB Accreditation

On August 10, Business School of Nankai University got the official confirmation from the world top accreditation institute- Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International(referred to as the AACSB), which announced that Business School of Nankai University had earned the AACSB accreditation with a 5 year valid period, the news was posted on the AACSB official website.

 Since the membership in May 2010, Business School of Nankai University has devoted all its effort to promote the development strategy driven by the mission and vision. With the establishment of the system of quality assurance in the aspects of faculty development, education and teaching, research management, as well as supporting resource. Business School of Nankai University accomplished every process of the AACSB accreditation successfully. All the work was highly praised by the peer review team during the on-site visiting in May 2016.

With the accreditation of AACSB, Business School of Nankai University has become one of the “double accredited” business schools as Business School has earned another significant international accreditation- AMBA accreditation in August, 2013.

The AACSB accreditation is of great significance for Nankai University to the construction of the world top management discipline, and it is a big achievement and landmark of the internationalization of Business School of Nankai University and the success of AACSB accreditation owes to the total support from the university leaders, the extensive involvement from school faculty and students, alumni, to the outside stakeholders.The advice and help from the mentor, the strategy advisor committee and the peer review team are quite helpful, too.

AACSB International was established in 1916, it is the oldest accreditation association for business schools, and it is also the biggest business education network in the world to join the world’s students, academic and business field. AACSB offers accreditation for undergraduate, graduate, doctor as well as the business & accounting program. So far, only 777 universities or education institutes from 52 countries and regions earned AACSB accreditation and 185 universities or education institutes earned the accreditation for their accounting program.
