About Speaker

Eric (Er) Fang is an associate professor of Business Administration and James F. Towey Faculty Fellow at University of Illinois. Granted with the PhD degree in marketing from the University of Missouri in 2005, Fang is mainly engaged in the research of marketing strategy, business model innovation, and dynamic empirical modeling. As for his achievements, his dozens of papers can be found in such top international journals as Journal of MarketingJournal of Marketing ResearchMarketing ScienceOrganization ScienceJournal of International Business Studies, etc. Fang has won the 2015 AMA Varadarajan Award for Early Career Contributions to Marketing Strategy Research. by American Marketing Association in 2015 and MSI Young Scholar Award in 2010. Besides, Fang has delivered lectures to both Chinese and American enterprises such as JP Morgan, Boeing, People’s Bank of China, etc. and offered counseling services for renowned corporations including ICBC, A.O.Smith Corp., Abbott, Huawei, etc.
